I just picked up the HydroHut Deluxe and after owning the HH mini and original for a few months, I have to say the Deluxe is the way to go for sure. I sold my mini to a buddy and upgraded to the deluxe and keep the OG to clone/veg. The deluxe has just a few improvements over the others that make a great tent: 1) it has four "front doors" each side acts as its own front door with two doors that both have "double zippers" 2) velcro on the flaps 3) It only has the air flaps on the front and back and inlets on the side, so the air can come in the side but no light leaks if you have multpile units set-up side by side 4) 6" ducts too 5) its just BIGGER (4' deep x 8' wide x 7' tall) w/ more spots for plugs, inlets, outlets, air. Deluxe hands down. peace_highst

the hydrohut deluxe has only got one 6" duct, the homebox XXL has two 6" ducts, it also has 4 doors and Velcro on the zipper flaps.

its the same thing as a homebox just it has that pocket thing, IMO not worth it.

and just cause they say 50,000 dose not mean they have sold that many its most likely a marketing ploy.

All versions of the HydroHut have features 1 - 3;

I own all three sizes they make. I can tell you for sure that the two small ones have no velcro, only open from the front (instead of four doors) and they both have their air intake on the side where the deluxe has it on the front and back not sides, which makes easy to place them in series 100% w/o light leaks to other tents. Its not really an issue anyways, just being safe with the light thing.

I think the Hydro Hut deluxe is night and day better than the HydroHut Original, Mini or the Homebox. I have never scene the BudBox, so I cant weigh in on that, but I have scene the other two brands and the Hydro Hut deluxe is the only size and brand I would use. peace_highst

very...very...interesting!

Im a former C13 grower and I was about to build a new c25....but this HydroHut Mini may be better for me,less cutting and drilling plus I move alot,so I can break it down and carry the HH with me....hmmm

I like the HydroHut Mini becaus I just bought a brand new 4" Vortex and 400HPS Super Sun.

thanks guys,please keep the pics coming! im off to measure my room!

I would want to see it in person too, but it has a plastic frame, so I would be reluctant right there. It says sizes are large and extra large, but gives no dimensions and you cant see any close ups on the little features 'clicky'. Not to pysched on it from what I can see. Seems just like the Homebox, which I already think is inferior to the HH deluxe. peace_highst

That's odd. I owned a HydroHut Mini, and it had the front zipper door (half-split down the middle, so actually "two doors"), and every hole had a Velcro'd cover. The air intakes with the black mesh on the bottom were on both sides and the back. A 4" intake on the bottom left corner of the left side, and a 4" exhaust on the far right corner of the top ceiling. One metal flange included. Also had black clips so you could "clip back" the doors, while working in it.

I also some at grow shops on display not too long ago, and they were the same as I describe it. Or at least I didn't notice anything different, not that I was paying that much attention.

Maybe you have some old models of the Mini and the Original, or something. I don't know.

The way I see/saw it, the Deluxe is simply a larger model with all the same features minus the obvious, and the 6" flanges / holes.

We've already discussed every single difference in the past few pages on the differences on the Homebox and the Hydrohut. The only thing I could possibly consider "inferior" are the nylon / plastic corners, which the Homebox users here assure me are very strong (I'll take steel welded to steel any day).

Other than that, everything else is subjective: metal zippers vs. plastic zippers, adjustable duct socks vs. fixed metal flanges (or bare holes, if you don't buy the extra flange kit), and size (whatever fits you best).
