well what i learned from mycology is to talk to people who have experience. because i lost about 400 starting out in that buying stupid shit. and now i never spend more than $20 each time. now im trying to be smart and buy things that i need and will use for a long time.

i have been reading many subjects all at once. its hard to remember everything.

but thank you for your answer.

still i dont have an 8 inch opening.. only a 6.

and its not like your telling me a big secret or anything like that. im just trying to be smart about what im buying here.

i got experience in growing.. both marijuana and shrooms... just not using tents.. so give me a break

been around it all my life

if i were you i would vent the 1k's sepertaly and just get a scrubber large enough to clean the whole room your in. i used a bathroom exhaust fan i think it was a 50-80 cfm with a homemade cooltube 6inc-4inch reducer on a 400 watt it was cool to the touch.

lol i was just told not to do this

but yes regardless i will vent it seperately. it was never my intention not too.

oh and btw.. i am about 5 acres away from any house. smell isn't a HUGE issue i just want to do my best to eliminate it anyways

thats just what i would do i have never grown in a tent either .....its just a room tho same math.... safety first

you can never really know what kind of yield your gonna get with shrooms until its all over.

but i would just buy a 15 psi pc. a few rubber maid tubs.. spores.. 1 pint mason jars.. wild bird seed.. coir.. and vermiculite. bed and beast coir from petco i like the best.

also pastuerizing is bullshit i sterilize everything. actually currently it is up for debate about which is better, but i have done both and prefer to sterilize my coir/poo.

i got some pretty sweet grow pics.. and a few years of experience in it. i never get contam anymore (well okay the trich is a pain the ass sometimes during witner months) and usually yield about 4 ounces per 4 pints of wbs/4 pints of vermiculite when i just do something simple such as rez effect. so you can very easily do a few pounds every month for very cheap

15 psi pc? what would be the space requirments to pull a commercial run like that? I want to be the king of mardi gras OK AND 20LBS OF SHROOMS WOULD DO IT!

20lbs is to much for anyone to have lol
i would refuse to posses so much. i would be kinda sweating that.

could probly get a small green house that fits in the closet and do a couple pounds a month or something. requires little amount of space and is cheap.

just be careful with shrooms.... they are tools not toys.

anyways back on topic.. no more shroom talk

YEA I LURKED AROUND THE Shroom sites for months they aint into commercial. oooh ya pressure cooker what a dumass..na i would rather be hauling 20# of caps than 20#of bud... dogs cant smell it right?

lol sorry forgot..what do you want to know again? if you have 3 large to drop then u can do no wrong unless you cant grow at all? you had it right from the start 170-350 cfm for the light and depending on the size of the room, a scrubber..
is stealth an issue? if not i would run both light thru same fan with it being closer to the flowering light.just remember you loose cfms with each linear foot of tubing so if your veg tent is 8-10 feet away from flo might want to reconsider.i will post an excellent ventilation thread for you.

well the only lights im gonna have in the veg tent is a couple t5's .. maybe a mh in the future.

mr bojangals uses a can 33 just like i had thought originaly for his exhuast and the same fan as i turning it down half speed and it works for him. also using the vortex 6 on a 1k light in the dr150. so it should all be good.

just dont know what i should get for the veg tent and how to keep smell out when drying.

and stealth isn't a huge issue for me. i live in my own house in the middle of no where so its all good

Amstel....go to shroomery.org and do a search for Poor Mans Pod and a search on the Martha Stewart Closet.IMO the Martha Stuart Closet would be best for a comercial grow of shrooms.

thanks for the apology man. i understand how that is. its all good :joint:

yeah the martha thing is basically a green house. the way i do things is pretty simple and yields great. even commercialy. i just dont have a use for that many shrooms. what i grow is plenty enough. i throw away half of what i get.

poor man pod is waste of time and money to me.. but thats my opinion. some poeple like it. I like to keep it simple. cakes suck for me not enough yield. and plus all the bubbles and all that shit.. just isn't needed. aluminum turkey tray.. some wbs.. and some coir goes a long way. or i guess you could put trays in a poor mans pod. but if you just buy one of those turkey tray's with the clear plastic lid you can just put the lid over the tray and put some holes in it. or just use monotubs which is my favorite.

i just usually do like 5 20qt tubs or something and they each get a qp. about every month.

lol this place needs a shroom thread.

6inch is beutifull for 1k! if using t-5 in veg just leave it open and blow air in with regular box type fans... like we already came up with scrub the whole room... cure/dry in same room tweak (depending on size of scrubber/fan ur using ) the on off times of your scrubber as you go along...yea im trying to move out to the country the wife is giving me shit kinda like a gree acres scenario over here.... fuq her we will be coutryfied soon...

i almost want to just scrub the entire room but im not sure yet. anymore opinions on this matter? no one else has done this? it seems like a few other people would have some experience on this.

your plants may stress out if you take them from veg with t5's to flower with a 1k.

i recommend using a 600w to ease the transition or keep them in veg and let them get threw the stress before flipping to flower

you can def scrub the whole room.

I have seen this in many setups. in fact my buddy uses a scrubber on the fan that pulls the heat off of the 3 ac's as well as the room its self being scrubbed too.
