Got one for you Keefhead!
Some bubble I made yesterday from a crappy batch of trim, pretty damn nice. Top row is first runnings, and the bottom row is the 2nd Runnings. I will run it 3 times in the future, The quality loss is not substantial and there seems to be a LOT more trichomes left behind.
^^ took me 4 hours.
I have about a pound of the HOG buds that will be meeting the bubblebags today!! can't wait for this one.... but damn it takes a looonnng time.

Organic Pot of gold at 57 days
Organic Hashplant at 57 days
The Hashplant is a very light feeder, and my regular organic mix was too hot for her. I will do better with her next time, but damn she is a sparkler. Smells like greasy sticky afghani, mint/fuel/coffee... AWESOME!

I usually run it 4-5 times, but the quality is poor, pretty much good only for BHO extractions in my book. It has a lot of those little (chrystolith?) hairs and other "stuff". After two runs I load the "mush" into the bubbleator bag and give it a 10 minute run each time, and stop when it gets too bad. It's a new technique for me, and I don't really know what I am doing - yet.

Ya mon! If you look carefully at the pics you can see the quality difference between 1 and 2, it is very slight however. I think I will stop at 3 runs as it is a lot of work to do a single run. How do you like the bubbleator bag? Got any pics ?
oh btw, this run was wooden spoon 15 mins, both runs. I like the quality a lot more, and the yeild is basically the same as the last time with the electric beater. This is all headstash anyway, so yeild is not too big of a factor ;p

Very slight difference. It looks to me as if the second run has a bit more chloraphyl in it maybe? As you know, that should go away as it dries.
I only use the triangular bubbleator bag that goes in the bubbleator. The output goes through 8 bubblebags. It's more work, but sometimes very rewarding. The other bags that came with the bubbleator are not for me, as they are just 180 and 45 if I remember right. See - I just don't use them. I like my 90 and 73 just too much......
No pics now, but I can see I need to do more of that. Bad stoner - no bong...

DAY 66 HARVEST
Here's a little harvest log for you folks, This will conclude this thread. I have one more grow show left in me, so this aint the end of the road... but we're getting close.
It's been a hassle free grow, no deficiencys, and no nute burns. Humidity got a little high, but I will run dehumidification for all future grows. Learn a little bit each cycle...always learn... always experiment.
If I can hope for one thing to come from this thread, it's to drive home the importance of environment and strain selection. Nutrients don't do dick. You can grow 10 star marijuana with GH 3 part(or any 3 part for that matter), and little else. So all you kiddies out there who mix and match snake oils, take this point home with you. Keep is as simple as possible, why introduce possibility for errors? don't do that shit... AMEN!!!

Now another important point! I did not trim these girls at all, planting 9 per light and hugging all 4 600w lamps close together so that they "share" light footprints... and you end up with VERY FEW SUCKER BUDS. Look at these would-be "sucker buds...."

So that's that. Strain went a lot longer than I hoped for, but I will not be running this bullshit again in the future. And you might be thinking.. "hmm bullshit? don't look too bad to me...!" .. and that's when I bust out the REAL MONEY SHOT!
POT OF GOLD, 2 plants easily 5+ ounces
Hell yes Hell yes Hell yes!!!!
So, my next crop of clones are rooting right now, and I am in the middle of cleanup. Plants are drying, and I will trim and give up some #s eventually... if I get around to it
Strains for next crop:
90% Pot of Gold
5% Chronic
4% MK-Ultra
1% Ken's Granddaddy Purple

Pot of gold is a winner, for sure. proof is in the puddin' as they say, and this puddin' says it all. the Ken's GDP is getting it's test run.. this is the real deal granddaddy purple... nto that fake garbage i just grew out. So we'll see, I have 3 moms and getting ready to make more moms... If the tester Kens does well, next run will be 50/50 kens and pog. and THAT will be a grow to remember!

what a site for sore eyes that is eh? oh so true, keep things simple and you can't go wrong, its so easy to get sucked into the additives trap. when in actual fact very few additives actually have any real benefit. when i think back, i used to grow with A+B and nothing else for the whole 12/12 phase, then the pk 13/14 came out so i tried it out, then cannazym, then bioboost and each one more expensive then the next. i must admit though, even though i'm not 100% sure if its helping or not i still use the bio boost and pk13/14 too most grows. maybe it really is time to try one with A+B alone once again? would be interesting to compare yields with supplements and with out.
