Jah mon, back from de river mon! Reggae on the River of course...

Here's some updates I didn't get to put up last week. These are the week 3 shots, and we are now on week 4.... but I don't have pics YET! Soon!!

Left side, "GDP" (Lavender?)



Right side, 14 "GDP" 2 Pot of Gold, 1 Bubbleberry, 1 Swt#4



The 2 plants on the left and right are the POG, the middle plant being shaded out is the Swt#4. Those POGs are very vigerous growers, and yeilders. They are 38 inches tall, whereas the "GDP" are 24-26 inches. The Swt#4 is shorter like the GDP, and is being shaded out by those beautiful big ladies.

Mr GreenJeans Thanks for the love, some ocming your way too! You still have that cherry bomb growing anyplace? If i remember correctly, you had the Hawaiian half of the RM Cherry Bomb II right? I'm headed to hawaii tomorrow actually, kahului for a week... my plants will miss me, but not much! As you can see they take care of themselves.... and the stretch has stopped.. just fat nugs from here on out woohoooo!!

DAY 30 BLOOM

PH: 5.9
PPM: 850, Lucas Formula using a ratio of 1:2 Micro to Bloom.

Also from reading Lucas' notes, I have found that you can add the GROW nutrient to stabilize your PH while you are away. I have been doing this with great success. I will be leaving for a week tomorrow, so I added 120ml of GROW. This will gradually lower the PH of the solution, which naturally wants to rise. The GROW will combat the natural rise in PH, and the result is a stable 5.8-6.0 PH. General Hydroponics 3 part is very versatile.

a Single Bubbleberry test clone on the table, I like what I see so far. Nice dense nugget formations, not too stretchy, but stretchy enough. High hopes for this one.

I'll be back next week for week 5 updates, I will also be hitting these girls with KOOL BLOOM for the first time. I have never used it before, and will tread cautiously... anyone who uses bloom boosters, have any tips ??

looking good man, very good indeed. nothing like pics with the lights off for seeing the true colors.

nice trick with the grow fert keeping the ph down. but to be honest i don't mind my ph going up a bit. with my coco setup i find it stops rising at about 6.2 which the plants seem to like too. so i just let it rise, i'll set it to 5.8 and when i next come a few days later it might have gone to 6.0 or even 6.1 but even if i stay away a week until the tank is empty it will stop rising at 6.2

Aloha my friends, I'm back from Maui. I did not recover any seed unfortunatly, everyone I talked to on this trendy isle has "cali nugs." It's a shame.

Before I left for vacation: PH 5.75/840ppm
When I got back: PH 5.78/840ppm

So you see, my little trick of adding the 100ml of GROW really stabilizes the solution for the long haul. This is a cool trick I learned from Lucas. Previously I would have a PH in the 6.5-6.8 range after a 7-8 day vacation... and some serious PH burn/deficiency.

I usually have no problem letting my PH drift between 5.7-6.2, but this grow I have been trying to keep it 5.8-6.0. I have heard a stable PH, even if it is slightly the wrong PH for your plants, is better than one that drifts many tenths... but I have also heard the reverse... lol just trying it out for myself. So far it's looking good

yeah a stable ph is good, on the other hand plants use different nutrients in an optimum way at slightly differing ph levels. i like to keep the ph under 6.0 during veg and early flowering and then let it drift between 6.0 and 6.2 for latter flowering phase. but i also used to grow at a steady 5.8 and i also had good results. so i think as long as the ph stays in a reasonable level, the plants will thrive.

WEEK 5 BLOOM (day 38)

Not much to report...everything is running smoothly. Just changed the reservoirs for the last time. The plants will eat on this batch of nutrients for week 5 through week 7. from week 7 and on, I will flush with PH'd tap water.

150 PPM KOOL BLOOM added.

I am expecting the "GDP" to go 9-10 weeks. Pot of Gold, 8-9 weeks, bubbleberry 9 weeks.... Hashplant, even though I was told 45 days, is going to go 8 weeks easy. I will be killing the hydro sweettooth, the Pot of Gold to the left and right of it have completely taken it over. The 2 Pot of Gold's I put on the tables as testers will be an easy 60grams each.... the potential is astounding for the Pot of Gold. I will run one table 100% Pot of Gold next round.

The "GDP" on these tables are a club clone, and it is not the real deal Granddaddy Purple(fucking vendors). Though, I have 3 clones of the real in veg right now(thanks to a very awesome lady from another site), they will be ready the grow after next... and I will run both tables Granddaddy Purple

WEEK 6 BLOOM Day 44

Here is a look at the Organic 600w, I've got a Hashplant, Pot of Gold, Bubbleberry, and Sweet Tooth4 in here. The Pot of Gold is some amazing herb grown organically... Kush/Musk .. one nug in a plastic bag inside your pocket will STANK up the whole room... everyone will know you're carrying herb.

bubbleberry, small nugs... but lots of them.. they just don't seem to swell much. This strain will probably be "cut" from my mothers... though, it smells
REAL nice.... bubblegum melon candy.

notice the buds leaning into the middle isle? The tables are placed close to one another so that they "share" their light. The buds in the middle isle would normally be popcorn, but becuase the tables are sharing light they have developed into some nice meaty nugs, worthy of my pipe!

And a look at some Hydro plants compartive to the soil plants... pretty amazing differences..

every cola you see in this picture is from ONE Pot of Gold plant. I am guessing this single plant to be 2-3 oz. INCREDIBLE!!!! Can't wait to run the whole table with Pot of Gold!!!!


And here is bubbleberry for comparison, it's the huge cola with weird single droopy leaves... bad picture of it, but there is no better angle. It looks like a 2 ounce plant.... which is the goal. 2 oz per plant is awesome. One thing to note about it, all of the side branches found light and have packed on nugs. I had to tie this plant up, it fell over.
