Dark Star. It's promising. Good resin, the smell reminds me strawberries. Indica structure, basically no branching and dense nuggets.

It's a cross from THseeds made between a purple kush and a mazar.

In the lasts months I used some eazyplugs to root cuttings. Lower price compared to root riots and they just work.

They comes dry, root riots comes wet. Just pour your ''rooting'' water, let them re-hydrate and they're just ready to be used.

One x24 tray weight something more than 500 grams once it's wet. Just perfect for me.

@sebamottura notice leaves are cut because space for the cuttings is very poor. Being in a close environment with basically no air-exchange, risk of mold is very high due to touching leaves.
Reducing the space for the leaves mean more air-flow trough them and this is just good.

Once they're in the little greenhouse to root, they need also to be exposed to fresh air once a day (that's my schedule) for one or two hours to let dry the condense and thus any possible germinating mold spore.

However, touching leaves will rot. So reducing the overall number is ok.
Many growers cut them to slow down transpiration. To me, makes not much sense when using a greenhouse with controlled humidity. It's just for the space...having more cuttings in a reduced space.

Thank you for the thorough explanation! Are you not using the mist maker anymore?

I just realized that I really enjoy your strain selection. It's not just the latest and greatest trendy stuff, its diverse, and its not way too much, you work with a strain for a long time and really get to know it and perfect it. Was it hard to let go the PCK tonic? What made you decide to move on? Nice cloning update, and good to see you trying out some cookies - thx for the beauty pics!, I know you're on the other side of the pond so probably not as easy for you to get your hands on all the cuts.

Cheers!

Glad you like it bro and you are right, working long time, often years with the same cut, growing it many and many times, let me see how a plant reacts to different conditions, what I can expect from it and what not. Interesting to know for sure.

Not a big deal throw away the pck-t...I'm still plenty of those seeds to find a better pheno if I would but I'm focusing energies on other crosses right now. Throw away moms is a part of the game, but some of them I'll never throw away..and those are the real long time keepers ;)

And you're also right about cuts availability on this side of the pond, however nowdays we're more and more contaminated by the US works, where is the real selection on big numbers I guess. It's quite a good deal importing elite cuts and selling'em at 10 or 15K first till everybody has a copy and go on with the next one...no jokes here bro. See the seed market and the names...once an elite cut is winning prices every seedbank want a strain in its catalogue with that name...and sometimes even if those seeds have nothing to do with that name or if the seeds are not tested because the time is now, not later. Crazy world!
But beside this, beside the market we're lucky to be here and share a passion before anything else...and also sharing seeds and cuts for free :)

Sprout those old seeds and give'em some sun or light bro. Hope the best for you

Didn't have any issue with eazyplug and hydro bro...they're also more easy to set in place when transplanting compared to aero-rooted clones with no medium.

Gotta ask what cross is that one with dosidos...don't remember. Have a couple more phenos ;)

Thanks Nico.

One more DarkStar pheno...nothing impressive overall. Out of two phenos one of them started to sprout nanners on nanners in the very late flowering. Gotta smoke 'em and see if there is something good in the taste.

Out of many GorillaKush seeds (a cross between GG4 and a kush cross) I found a really gassy one. Seems to smell gas out of the kitchen. Seems also to be a decent yielder with a good shape.

Belle cime! Beautiful buds!
I am working on a grow box w/ a 2x2 RDWC inspired by your first setup, you cannot imagine how happy I was when I found more specs and pics of it in your thourogh "La Guida Verde" for which I thank you immensely. This is the thread:

https://www.icmag.com/ic/showthread.php?t=353875

Are these clones or seeds? How many days from seed or cut?

I planted 3 avocado seeds that had started rooting, left the top 2cm out. Is central-Italian climate ok for avocado?

Glad I helped somehow bro, I would like to improve that guide or write a new one with all the knowledge I got in these years and share with you all again. Hope I'll find the time to.

Most of the plants in this thread are from clones but not the last ones. The last run I ended with 20/30 females and only one really top shelf, the one I was risking to lose, because both of the two cuttings I took were dead, so it need a reveg. It's a Sherbe(r)t x platinum cookies, really intense, flowery and sweet with some sour.

Here the plant from seed, revegged, attacked from thrips, pruned to take more cuttings and still growing good. It has a good vigor, can't wait to put it in a hydro setup.

About avocado, nope, it's not possible to grow them in Central Italy imho, unless you have a real different micro-climate where you live, like a ''magic valley''. You can try to let'em grow indoor but I hardly doubt you can grow them outdoor, surviving the cold season.

However you're sprouting seeds, not growing from Haas clones or others, so you have a very little chance to get an acclimatized plant, capable of surviving, but it's a really little chance.

Talking about commercial cultivation in Europe, there are many in Canary Islands and it's Europe only in the politic way....other than that there are few in the southern part of Spain and that's all I think. Just to have an idea, you know...however if you get enough light in your house you can grow them indoor, prune them soon and get them bushy.

I only hope they will sprout even if old bro. I abandoned the CT line for new things...however I still have a mom, sometimes I need to grow it again! And to say it all, I still have CT F1 seeds from a different mom I was calling it ''banana'' for its smell, never sprouted one of those seeds and maybe in some months I'll put some to germinate and see what happens.

This time I decided to grow some skunk, hope to find something interesting.

So I now have:
10x Sensi Skunk
10x Super Skunk
10x Skunk #1
13x Tangie
Perfect germination in a couple of days, no freaks, just some decoloration on 3x Tangie.
I go with a mix of soil and coco, using Canna hydro Flores A+B (Ec 1.0 pH 7) and cannazyme.
