Hi buddy,
What do you mean about the TT Silent controlled by GSE dimmer? Take care 'cos I saw 2 of them (tt silent 125) damaged by speed dimmer. Waste of money.
My 2 cent :tiphat:

Yo bro, sorry for the delay! I was referring to this: GSE Fan controller + hysteresis

There is a difference between cheap dimmer which act on Voltage and the GSE line (or others too) working on the frequency. These last ones should not compromise the fan engine. Will let you know in a couple of years

Too clean your setup looks dialed in good gardening bro keep it up

Too clean!

Yesterday I put some new seeds to germinate. 6 new different strains sharing the ChocoTonic dad.

Out of 10 little cones in 400cc pots I got more than 500 (more likely 600) viable seeds, just using 96 watts of fluo panel. This means 5 seeds per watt and it is indeed a low number...however it depends a lot on seed's size. Some strains produces many and many little seeds, some other produces less seeds but bigger.
I guess 10 seeds per W is a nice number for regular strains, and for sure it can be increased with auto-flowering plants.

Got some math on this? Please share guys.

Here some pictures at the end of the flowering. I guess at 3 months from the switch.

At the end of flowering a couple of clones were hit from thrips, I let 'em without spraying spinosad due to my philosophy, and even if leaves were damaged, seeds were just ok, with a little, withish % of them.

Once flowers are dried up, seeds are more visible, ready to fall down and start a new offspring. Nature is beauty in all of its form.

This AO clone in the specific yielded approx. 200 seeds, one of the best along ChocoTonic which yielded pretty the same amount.

Il be the first to say those pictures are absolutely beautiful! So you've got a AO x Chocotonic cross hey.... :chin: Im surprised that all your 3 AO were so uniform. Out of my 5 girls, I have 4 drastically different phenos. I would be posting way more pictures if I had your skills ;)

Paulie yes, I noticed little differences between phenos but all were pretty similar. Honestly, I was thinking to contact TGA to ask if these plants are really AO or what...for sure they have so dense buds I never seen anything like that...the same bag with the same amount of weed (in volume) has double weight compared to average buds from other strains I grow. Really impressive.

Will see this new cross if comes out good or not, however I didn't sprout these seeds as I want to test other varieties before.

Nice pics man fire regs

those seeded buds look dope!

Thanks m8s! Hope to find something good out of these crosses.

Here is a PCK-Tonic f1 (Cannabiogen PCK x ChocoTonic). It's the only phenotype I keep of this strain and it's pretty strange because the flowering is delayed initially, then after 25 days of 12/12 it starts to budding seriously and in just a little more then a month the yield it's not bad, definitely not bad, with some dank nuggets, foxtailish, and a strong scent mixed between solvent and lemon. However aroma is not as good as the smell, as combustion fucks up a lot of that aroma, so its best is to be vaporized gently.

Frosty!

Why do the leaves rollup like that. Heat stress ?

More PCK-Tonic....to be a summer run this strain did it good with its 60 days of 12/12...almost last days of flowering in the pictures. I usually low the lamp's wattage in the very last days to let them finish with a not so intense lightning....thinking about terpenes and heat, am I wrong?

Here how I germinate seeds...in this pictures the last seeds I got from the crosses with CT dad.

Clean and disinfected pyrex dishes

Clean paper towel

Seeds in and some water (with some Cl) sprayed to keep 'em moist. Notice the folding keep an air cavity in which seeds stay in contact with O2.

Just cover with some film, write the strain on it and just wait some time.

Hi bro! Beautiful foxtails from your crosses and your seeds are so trippy to watch, healthy and mature color!

The paper method has been My 1^ choise from allways! I put also something to cover the box with the wet/airbubbles paper (not pressed like your), to maintane a more costant temperature using sometimes also a thermos or termos for the coffe for piknik washed in the washing machine!

Yeah bro, temperature is crucial, not too cold, not too hot, avoiding high thermal excursion. If seeds are viable most of them will sprout.
