Yo guys, I started a new seeds project. Making some new seeds using just one chocotonic male to cross various clones I selected in the years.
I'm using just 110W fluo panel and clones are in 0,4 liters pots, just straight canna hydro A+B and some zymes.
Few more days and I'll throw away the male to let seeds ripe.

Once I get'em 2 weeks in the fridge and then a new selection run to see what comes out from these new crosses.

Yo guys I will post updates about the new seed project here and if there will be any good F1 strain I will produce more seeds. Need at least 6 months from now to test'em seriously.

Here a GreenPoison clone at the end of flowering (55 days 12\12)

Some rooting clones

And here are the roots of a single plant at the end of flowering, using 10 liters airpot and some spreader mat to keep some water on the tray. I saw a lot of roots under the mat, and it did work indeed.

Chopping started for these 2 lamps setup

I'm using airpot just for this growbox, and I have to say they work great. I will buy more in the future for other setups

Tried to put the clones directly in the final pot with their own little net-pot, where they rooted in. Just cut the plastic of net pot on several points and it worked just great. No difference in yield or nothing different from usual. Plant's roots are really strong.

In the last months I grown 10 AgentOrange females. Nothing really special indeed, but I still keep three different phenotypes. They are now flowering in a hydro setup for the final selection, but I don't think I will keep any, just to be sure of it.

PCK-Tonic (PCK x ChocoTonic) Love it for the lemonish/solvent smell

Use only RO water for humidifers...otherwise mineral dust will be pretty everywhere...

Checking temperatures in the rooms is a must to dial-in the grow.

Got this chocolope F3 clone from quite a long time now and it is not a great yielder, but it's super sweet and really easy to clean with a nice flower shape

Here 3 different AgentOrange phenotypes at mid flowering under 2 HPS lamps dimmered at 400W because the hot temps.

Pots are 6,5 liters big, only clay pebbles, straight canna Aqua A+B, some zymes and some Si.
This strain has some Indica dominancy and it has little stretch, hard stems and dense nuggets. Good work on the growing side TGA!

Thanks DarkSider, always trying to learn and grow more and more.

Here some new clones just flipped to 12\12

They are 4 ChocoTonic and 4 Naranchup. Gotta try this last strain to give it a last chance to be a keeper.
I always mix at least a couple of strains in these hydro setup. They react nice, I just avoid different flowering times clones, but for what concern the nutritive solution, there is no need to have a dedicated one for each strain, they grow perfect using fresh nutes at an EC level of 1.2 - 1.3 mS/cm at pH 7 or around 7, a little more, a little less. Tap water EC is 0,6 mS/cm and no RO is used.

AgentOrange mom pollinated with ChocoTonic dad

Still green seeds...need time to ripe well

picture.php

Pollen...just a few grains. I know it is useless having all that pollen on leaves, but I like to see it everywhere

43 days 12\12 for these 4 ChocoTonic clones, I'm pretty sure they will fatten up during one more entire month.

I can't set this lamp on super-lumen (660w) because it starts flickering, and every lamp does the same thing, so I assume the problem is on the ballast. Any input guys? I already have 2 or 3 ballast doing the same thing and it's ok because I want to switch to 400V version but if there would be a simple solution...it would be nice to hear it!

This one is the AgentOrange clone I used to make few seeds and test'em out. It has a great purple and a nice structure but on the aroma side it's not the best, so I bet the offspring will be richer for sure on the aroma side due to CT dad.
