el mani , la oruguilla esa si la adiestras a lo mejor te vale de perro de guardia y defensa , la Virgen...
La planta de la foto con las hojas de olivo de fondo es la que dices ahora huele a cuero y pera? Se ve mucho más sativa aún que las otras, en plan Destroyer "trigo loco", "Old Congo", etc... Que variedad es?
...Por cierto que con olor y sabor a pera blanquilla dulce (casi como chirimoya) si tuve yo una Destroyer feminizada, pero sin la parte de cuero, solo fruta...
Coincidimos en no gustarnos el olor-sabor metálico. Yo soy un "dulzainas afrutao", mi primo: los aromas-sabores afrutados y/o dulces me pirran.
Mucha suerte con todo, y salud para disfrutarla.

It looks much more sativa than the others, like Destroyer "crazy wheat", "Old Congo", etc... What strain is it? ...By the way, I had a feminized Destroyer with a sweet white pear smell and taste (slmost like chirimoya por custard-apple) but without the leathery part, only fruit... We agree in not liking the metallic smell-flavour. I'm a "dulzainas afrutao", my cousin: I love fruity and/or sweet aromas-flavours. Best of luck with everything, and health to enjoy it.

La oruga se la quité a los pollos y la puse a salvo, es una oruga de Acherontia atropos, igual te suena de la película el silencio de los corderos. Las mariposas adultas son casi pájaros Menos mal que no comen cogollos.
La planta es una p75/o.hz es de lo poco que queda aun en tierra, esta y una BD75hz que no estarán en al menos quince días, lo demás está ya todo boca abajo o en botes. Es curioso lo de los olores y aromas , ayer casi tenía que pegar la nariz a los cogollos para apreciar el olor y hoy apestaban a diez metros..

I took the caterpillar from the chickens and put it to safety, it is a caterpillar of Acherontia atropos, just as you remember it from the movie Silence of the Lambs. Adult butterflies are almost birds. Good thing they don't eat buds.
The plant is a p75 / o.hz is the only thing that is still on the ground, this and a BD75hz that will not be in at least fifteen days, the rest is already upside down or in pots. It's funny about the smells and aromas, yesterday I almost had to stick my nose to the buds to appreciate the smell and today they stank at ten meters ...

La planta es una p75/o.hz es de lo poco que queda aun en tierra, esta y una BD75hz que no estarán en al menos quince días, lo demás está ya todo boca abajo o en botes. Es curioso lo de los olores y aromas , ayer casi tenía que pegar la nariz a los cogollos para apreciar el olor y hoy apestaban a diez metros..

Si es grande la oruga, el mani; pensaba que en lugar de una mariposa o escarabajo, se metamorfosearia lo menos en aguila real o buitre leonado...
Creo que es mayor que las orugas de Gran Pavón que por aquí tanto abunda, aunque la mariposa de Gran Pavón (Saturnina piry) creo que es aún mayor que la de la Calavera Africana (Acherontia átropos) de tu oruga :

Sigue lloviendo suave pero sin pausa y con frío. Mi Green OldTimers Haze #19 X A5 Haze (A.C.E.; nacida el 17-Junio) sigue engordando casi a diario. Ya he pasado en las fotos de usar la "escala" de los botes de 0'33 litros, a las botellas de 1 litro, directamente; y la gran cantidad de hojas y foliolos no permite apreciar realmente el volumen de flores y cogollos.
Olor sutil a hierbabuena/clorofila y limón dulce, con un fondo metálico.

It's still cold and raining softly but steadily. My Green OldTimers Haze #19 X A5 Haze (A.C.E.; born 17-June) continues to put on weight almost daily. I've already switched in the photos from using the "scale" of the 0.33 litre beer's cans, to the 1 litre bottles, directly; and the large amount of leaves and leaflets doesn't allow to really appreciate the volume of flowers and buds.
Subtle smell of mint/chlorophyll and sweet lemon, with a metallic background.

Looking good my friend. Your information about the catapillars is really interesting (I've seen both in my garden), as is your extensive knowledge that you share with us about the local enviroment and history. If you ever venture Granada way, then you must give me a shout. I hope the rain blows out soon for you; we were lucky that our's only lasted for 12hrs or so. We Have snow on the tops of the Sierra now!

Aqui hoy (22-Noviembre) y un dia mas sigue lloviendo sin prisa pero sin pausa, y haciendo un frío propio de la segunda mitad de Diciembre.
Ahora mismo mis temperaturas máximas diurnas a la sombra son casi las mínimas nocturnas de la costa mediterránea... He tenido malísima suerte este año con este invierno prematuro, pues ahora mismo estoy en el rango de temperaturas en que al menos las sativas de larga floración se estancan en su desarrollo (lo que usualmente pasa en mi colina ya entrado Diciembre; la temporada pasada '20-'21 tuve plantas satisfactoriamente vivas hasta el 6 de Enero de este año), y como no repunten las temperaturas un poco durante algunos días cuando pase esta ola de frío tempranero, me temo mi Green OldTimers Haze X A5 Haze (A.C.E., nacida el 27-Junio) no va a continuar evolucionando como no sea para mal...
Los granados también están sufriendo esta ola de frío adelantado, aún con granadas en sus ramas:

Right now my maximum daytime temperatures in the shade are almost the minimum nighttime temperatures of the Mediterranean coast... I've been very unlucky this year with this premature winter, as right now I'm in the temperature range where at least long flowering sativas stagnate in their development (which usually happens on my hill well into December; last season '20-'21 I had plants satisfactorily alive until January 6th this year), and unless the temperatures rebound a bit for a few days when this early cold snap passes, I'm afraid my Green OldTimers Haze X A5 Haze (A. C.E., born on 27-June) is not going to continue to evolve unless it's for the worse...
Pomegranate trees are also suffering from this early cold snap, even with pomegranates on their branches:

Yo siempre los he comido en forma de "dulce de membrillo" ("carne de membrillo) o de mermelada. Pero los del membrillero de la foto con el perro son para un amigo de la familia, que gusta de comerlos asados y con miel de romero.
I have always eaten them in the form of "dulce de membrillo" ("quince jelly") or jam. But the quinces in the photo with the dog are for a friend of the family, who likes to eat them roasted and with rosemary honey.

Se ve de lujo Montuno muy sana y con muy buena densidad floral esta se va a primeros de diciembre también como la súper malawi Haze que me empezó ahora a resinar, vas a necesitar precisión quirúrgica para hacer la manicura se le ve bastantes hojas en las flores, deseando de que la Cortes para que nos pases un informe de humo
