Hey @vermontman. Sorry I have been busy with fall corn harvest. I have tested one a bit but I am going to let it cure a little longer and test it better on a rain day. First impression was very good. Very happy, relaxed, and fairly powerful. Below is a picture of the buds from the non-pink pistil plants. They are all spear shaped like this and don't smell fruity. More of an incense/ hop smell. Is this a mexican leaning pheno? It finished end of September. I really like the smell, I find hop strains help a lot with migraines.

Green Mountain Grape Vape Report:

Grown: Outdoors in the ground, harvested Sept. 28/22
Cured: 4 months roughly
Smells: Sweet Orange Juice (mild not strong), Pine, and slight Incense/hop smell
Method: Volcano Hybrid bag

I tried this again for the first time since October after harvest. The cure changed the smells a bit in a positive way. Now there is a bit of a sweet orange juice smell but it is dominated a bit by the pine with a backend of the incense/ hop smell. It tasted similar to how it smells, with a bit more of the pine coming through. The effects come on fast with this one, I was feeling pretty high part way through the bag vs. I don't usually notice until I am done with other strains. Very happy and relaxed. You can focus but it is also a bit cloudy mentally, I caught myself staring out the window thinking a few times. No paranoia or anxiety. Potency is medium/ high, overall a very good afternoon/ evening strain.

He's a stern taskmaster...hehe. If it doesn't produce it's outta here! Sure, please save me some seeds. :) Sorry it wasn't a more promising line though.
HAHA!
I picked out seeds today for you!! It's all cool, I am really digging the Mulanje lines and I just got 3 more African Sativa landrace but running out of time for this season.
Thank you for the reply :) I looked for it at Ace but it is out of stock

I live in the northeast and have been looking for it to work with outside

I have a really fast Indica with really hard buds that will get mold outside

faster than you can blink an eye :(

thinking this crossed might help, working towards a local cultivar to grow outside

falls are wet and cold here

thanks

You are most welcome!
All Green Mountain Seeds are grown and bred for the North East, and are very resilient against most weather events thus far, and have even done great in some of the worst weather like the summer of 2021 when all it did was rain all the way through.

Hello @
Hi vermontman, I have 10 seeds of the Green Mountain Grape, those pics are making me think they should be moved up the list! Is there any info about the Mendo IBL anywhere? (Seedfinder just says unknown sativa.)

I have 10 Purple Satellite as well so maybe I'll do those first.

Thanks for the seeds anyway!
Hello at @flambocello!
You will not be dissapointed with the Grape but to be clear the intensity of the purpleing is much more vivid on indoor grown not photographed plants under LED lights. The LEDs really bring out the pigments in the plants.
Outdoor grown Grape has Green and purple phenos about 50/50 ratio.
As shown below Grape #3 is the purple pheno and Grape #8 is the green pheno. The purple phenos for me seem to come in a week or so faster, than the green, but both are wonderful. Oh and the Heirloom Mendo is a non disclosed proprietary strain. Sort of like a cooks secret ingredient.
P.S. Even the Green pheno will grow dark purple under LED lights.
Hope that helps!

Today starts 12/12 for the Zacatecas Tribute. Of 10 seeds it’s looking like 4 solid males and 6 females. The females are just barely starting to show. Not sure if I’m going to keep any males around to make seeds with on this run.
Hey Cactus!
Looks like your off to a running start! And I'm liking that ratio,
What size pots are they currently in?

I thought I was using my 5 gallons bags but I just found them stacked nicely on my patio so that means I stuck them in 7 gallon bags on accident. Guess they’ll get that much bigger, glad it’s the 5x5 tent holding them. 😂

I’m hoping they like the soil mix they’re in. I’ve been recycling and amending my soil for a while and just changed the mix slightly for the LED light. Gave it a touch more oyster shell flower compared to normal. Also using alpaca manure in the mix now and really like what it does for the soil. Super fluffy and soft.

Very uniform plants so far for the most part. Most throw 7 bladed leaves, 1 fem and 1 male throwing 5 bladed leaves only so far. #3 female is about 2 inches taller than the rest, 7 bladed leaves and definitely growing faster than the others.

Sounds terrific for your soil mix,
so will you keep it organic?

High everyone :) Good news!

We are pleased to inform you that ACE Seeds has reached an agreement with Green Mountain Seeds for the exclusive distribution of their genetics in Europe.

As a consequence, Green Mountain Seeds strains will from now on be available not only through ACE Seeds website,
but also shortly through our official ACE Seeds distributors, which will allow a better diffusion of Green Mountain Seeds genetics all over the world.

Purple Satellite and Green Mountain Grape become part of our permanent catalog, since there's enough stock for their distribution for years.
While Mountain Gold and Pine Apple Banana Bud are available in limited stock, so they are being released as limited editions until stocks last.

Zacateca Tribute is the only Green Mountain Seeds that won't be available through retailers since there's not enough stock for its wholesale distriution.
The 21 packs available on our website (as of now) are the very last ones of this strain, so better get yours as soon as possible in case you are interested before Zacateca is completely sold out.

Green Mountain Seeds on our website: https://www.aceseeds.org/en/brands/green-mountain-seeds.html

Green Mountain Seeds are packed in ACE Seeds original packaging and are only available in regular seeds in packs of 10 seeds.

Kindly send us an email to [email protected] if you have any question about shipping to your location or about what retailers are already offering GMS stock.

Vermontman is doing great and about to start a new positive chapter in his life (not related with cannabis).

Thanks for your interest and support :ying:

I run an organic living soil type mix. Still learning it after years of DWC grows.

And I spoke too soon about 6:4 female:males. One of the slower showers I figured had to be female finally showed a ball last night so it’s 50/50 M/F as long as these last 2 that haven’t fully shown themselves yet go female.
