Still drying...this is the purple pheno sent to me from a member on another forum. Smells like cloves, grass, slight citrus and floral aromas. Reminding me of my Red Snakes very much.

Hey Tex!
I must say, visually it looks a lot like straight up Michoacan purple but less dark in the purple notes.
Nice work!

Saving my grape fems for outdoors this year! Hope your yard/Street cleanup went well my friend. Pics of my zac tribute coming soon.
Hey MG!
Yard and street looking a lot better thank you!
So many around us were not as lucky,
We have the most trees on our property in our area and had some of the least amount damage from the winds. Last month we planted six more really large native palms to break up the wind more for next time.
I think you will really like the Grape some outstanding ladies are coming out of the fem seed, And really looking forward to your Zacatecas tribute display!

Hey Vermont man what's your take on whether most of the old time sativas from Mexico are now contaminated with hybrid genetics. Do you think there are strains in Mexico that have survived hybridization that are still being grown by locals. My first time getting high was on Mexican and it was a revelation, definitely worth preserving (I don't know exactly where it came from in Mexico.) Are you concerned that globally local cannabis genetics are being replaced with hybrids. I'm not saying people shouldn't breed cannabis because I do, and I'd be a hyporcite if I said that, I'm just saying do you think we should be careful when introducing new genetics back into these countries that have all the great landrace strains? Currently I'm waiting for the Mountain Gold seeds to arrive here in BC. BC is one place hybrid genetics are necessary to get cannabis to mature consistently in a short season. I always enjoy your take on things. Stay well friend.

Hey bud!
Thank you for your kind words,
I would say most are crossed out, but I am sure there are pure pockets of strains some good, some fair and probably very few very special strains left being run by older farmers passing it down in their families. I was very fortunate to find my Oaxacan back in the late seventies. And yes if it were not for breeding many people would not be growing great cannabis up north.
Obviously I breed plants also, but how I like to set myself apart
from other breeders is I try to stay as pure Sativa as possible, as a northern grower, which the Oax and Nepali has enabled me to do. I would love to see how my Mountain Gold does in B.C. area
I am going to do a run on Mountain Gold this next season, I have not done her out myself for quite a few years, since well before when I released her as a limited addition, and people asked for more.
Cheers!

VM, how goes the Jarilla project?
Hey Tex!
I took down the two ladies this past week. Because of the high ratio of Male herms three out of four, kind of got one strike in my book. The next is the smell is not saying to me, damn! I want to sniff you all day, kind of pine grassy smelling And the flower to leaf ratio is really low.
They are laying cut out on my patio, if you want seeds
let me know for sure soon! simply because I promised you.
I believe there should be quite a few. If not honestly, sorry to say for me they are heading for the compost pile.
Sorry hope that doesn't sound to harsh?

Hello SM!
I think it is flattering when people work with my lines

Thank you for the reply :) I looked for it at Ace but it is out of stock

I live in the northeast and have been looking for it to work with outside

I have a really fast Indica with really hard buds that will get mold outside

faster than you can blink an eye :(

thinking this crossed might help, working towards a local cultivar to grow outside

falls are wet and cold here

thanks

He's a stern taskmaster...hehe. If it doesn't produce it's outta here! Sure, please save me some seeds. :) Sorry it wasn't a more promising line though.
