got single seeds all over the place, too much stray pollen at times^^

about the Mulanje cleanup, unfortunately my PBB line is also affected by the herming.
Got a small separate tent with males and future seed mothers on a flowering cycle, had some light leak there and the PBB mother next to it ended up reversing to full pollensacks.
Saw it today, gonna make some pics tomorrow, it's the original seedling mother about 6 month old.
It took until now under various stresses to show the flaw, gonna cull that pheno of course

always treating my breeding plants like crap, some redundant clones I just let die in passive light, small pots and constant dry out/overwatering.
The stress flowering usually exposes flaws or lack there off, like good clone phenos that basically never stress flower.
Sorry you ran into issue with your PBB. I have only heard of two instances of herm with that cross, yours being the second.
But I know it doesn't make you feel any better if you are the one with the problem.
Hope you get something out of your work.

no problem, lad
don't think those came via you, I have some older line that has been shared in forums years ago. Dunno by who and how, and don't care

these kinds of crosses are usually a bit tricky, so I was quite surprised when they all looked stable at the beginning.
Only had 8 seeds to work with, all germed, 2 males, 6 girls from preflowers.

funny enough, I never had that "girl" that ended up reversing in a real flower
it's the only cut I haven't had ready, when transplanting the run^^

likely saved myself some nerves by skipping that one unintentionally

Looking awesome there!
The Mulanje brings in the red stems and the rust colored pistils.

thanks lad,
good to know that it isn't just from being root bound and what to look for in phenos.

had some redundant PBB clones preflowering in my males tent, next to Jamaican males

decided to mush the tops into pollensacks on the ground, after collecting the males
thus making PBB x Jamaican f1
seeds are forming now, so I'm excited about that one

Well my Purple Michoacan x Purple Oaxacan plants are still going. They got switched to flower schedule weeks ago and have been slow to show sex. I seem to have one confirmed female, one probable female and one that I thought was male but might be a female after all. Unfortunately these have stretched like mad without developing much branching despite being restricted to 1/2 gallon pots. Anyhow, we'll see how they go ..

I should mention that my Purple Satellite in my garden developed similarly last summer, so maybe the Oaxacan tends that way?

So, in other news, I tried the paper towel method last week and sprouted two GMGrape fems which I then stuck in cups. Now they are happily starting their journey.

Thanks VM, and best wishes to you and yours this holiday season! :)

That stretch is surely the influence of the Oaxaxan Gold in her.
Also the stretch is way less notable in flowering clones.
Awesome on you with the Green Mountain Grape I have 4 of those fem seeds in flower now all looking stable and flowering well. Thank you for posting!
Happy Holidays to you and J
