2 nights of 48° at night brought out some fade on a few leaves of my Purple Satellite. We're right back into the heat.
128 days. 5 weeks of flower
She's starting to stack. She's praying hard.
Doesn't look like I'm going to get the pink pistil pheno though sometimes there's a wisp of color showing.

4.5 month old GMG. Those purple stems and petioles are gorgeous.
The stems smell of lavender, with a background of spices, mainly clove i'd say.
The flowers are beginning to be sticky since a few days, and smell of chocolate, coffee and praline. No grape yet !
She has begun flowering about 3 weeks ago (49/50°N)

I also have a green one (no pic), which smells more fruity.

You mentioned that you were looking for info on the first run of feminized Purple Satellite.

From the git go GMG has out preformed Purple Satellite by a percentage. (7% - 15% - 30%) attach whatever number you think appropriate. But look at the first picture of the stems with Satellite on the left.
That jump GMG had ... has been consistent throughout till day 113.

That was the day I noticed and made a mental note to mention that stalk wise the PS had caught up with the Gmg.

Now we're at day 128 and while catching up in budsize I'm still giving the edge to GMG by a percentage. 😉

Hello @HarleyJammer!
Thank you for your well wishes! And what a bueatiful bushy garden you have there! My best guess is your last picture would be leaning towards mountain Gold I think the Thai A5 haze would be coming a bit later? Thank you for sharing!!!

Hey @moose/MI!
Thank you also for sharing your garden of bushiness! And your ratings, very much appreciated! Are you getting the Grape fragrance and the Cherry smell from Purple Satellite?
Thank you again!!!

Thanks for the ID. I wasn't positive who was who.. I was leaning towards MG but the big girl is kinda different from the Cousin Itt Pheno.. Cousin Itt has that sweet smell and its already sticky as all get out. I think Itt is going to produce the biggest buds I have ever seen in a <4 foot plant. The big girl isn't putting out much smell yet and I'm not picking up sweet but kinda mild skunk.

I dont want to wish my life away but I cant wait til chop day! :)

... oh yeah.. I would also like to add that a couple weeks ago an EF1 tornado blew through my neighborhood. My plants survived with nary a broken branch or even a missing leaf.. Although, the next 9 days of constant rain did a number on the soil pH.. some plants I'm still trying to get back on track (lime green).. Lime, Grow, Recharge, CalMag/Su, Fulvic/Humic, Aminos, Kelp, Epsom salts, Micros, Worm Castings.. soil/foliar.. the whole shebang. Green Mountain cultivars have proven to be the most resilient and badass babes.

Sometimes when I've harvested beans too early, I degrade them. "Jesus christ wtf is wrong with these damn seeds" !? Then I realize it might have been me harvesting them too early. ;)

You may want to give those seeds some more time, 27 days might work, but longer won't hurt. Unless you're beset by mold or something, letting them go longer shouldn't degrade them, probably will help them. Again, to hedge your bets, you could experiment and take some now and take some in 10-14 days and see if your germination rates differ.
Good luck.

Dear fellow Green Mountain seeds growers, and master l'Homme de la Montagne Verte (I mean vermontman), I'm looking for opinions/advice.
My GMG#2 (green one) is herming somewhat, and while i have nothing against intersex plants per se, but i don't want to seed my females (they are very close : the purple stemed GMG on pictures above and a serious ace Congo fem).
I've never had to deal with this, so : should i cull it because whatever i do, it's going to throw more male flowers, or can i expect herhim to stop after i have stripped it of all the male parts (what i'm doing currently) ?

Note that i don't see any stress source around, except maybe a faraway window that may have shone a bit bright during the night (I have full control over it so it won't happen again). But GMG#1 sees the same window and so far is 100% female. Any idea of the sensitivity of this strain to light pollution ?

Note #2 : male flowers are coming mainly on the lower part of the plant. The highest colas seem full fem, except sometimes at their base, where the branching is visible.

It won't be a drama if i have to cull it, but it's a nice pretty little bush that smells soooo yummy...

Any thoughts ?
