Update on my two purple satellite fem plants. The one is about two weeks ahead of the other in flowering, it's already got some good smell going , I'm not good at describing smells but it's something I haven't encountered for many years. The latter one is up around 8’.

Glad to hear you're on the mend @vermontman :)

Here are my Green Mountain Grape, Zacateca Tribute and Purple Satellites... (from left to right)

There are 3 plants in view here and 3 more that didn't fit the picture, lol

The GMG is approx. 6' x 6' × 5' height and the others aren't too far behind. The ZT is quite vigorous as well.

Question for @vermontman is this early purple satellite pheno somewhat expected or is it something unique? This photo taken yesterday August 1 ,I'm at 40 degrees north. The other purple satellite fem plant I got going is not nearly as far along. I decided on fem seeds just to make thing easy and just give PS a try as I have many seed making projects. I have a feeling next season I will be growing some regulars and making seed and exploring this line more .Any info on pheno variations you have I would appreciate

Nice training, and really good use of binder clips!
Thanks! It's an important part of my residential system.
I have a bunch of reasons for doing it.

My girlfriend's distracting/blocking gardens only get about adam's apple high. I really can't have 10' trees here even though I know how to do that and love the visuals.
I'm in a legal state but the fine print is the neighbors aren't supposed to be able to see them.
So a less traditional shape makes them dissappear at a distance.
It also helps keep them down where I can have an eye on them for bud rot ect.

It builds spring energy into the branches.
They are all straining against the clip.
If I remove the clip the branch springs up 5-7". When they get heavy with colas they just return to neutral instead of needing support.

In fact I just broke out the weights this morning to augment the wire. Couple branches I want a little lower.
Controlling that apical dominance.
And swaying in the wind with the weight builds more strength for support later.🌬

No support structure let's me move them, turn them and wheel them under the plastic when it rains during critical fall ripening. It's been working well.

I'm also about growing quality resin on any inner growth. I only keep the very ends of the A buds for flower and hash the rest for storage.
So I'm always shaping towards that end.
Stretching out the branches for more tops/better light.

Might seem like a lot of work but I don't mind really. A few minutes a day
Here's a pic of my Bruce Banner from 2022 near the end showing the results.

Hello @Old Piney!
Last season was my first time to release FEM Purple Satellite and other than getting all females, I honestly was not quite sure exactly how they would express themselves. One of the parents is Baglung Nepali Sativa and my Baglung Nepali are at the same stage as your lady. So I suspect she is leaning a bit more on the Nepali side. The straight run line of Purple satellite is uniform in bloom time and F2'S and 3's and so on are also very uniform. Curious are you getting the Cherry fragrance from her?

I'm really bad at describing scents but I can definitely say no cherry. This plant has very rigid sticks and has completely different look than the other. Anyway that's cool I like surprises. The latter one hasn't been flowering enough for any real sents yet, maybe it will develop the pink hairs and Cherry sent .I'm surprise that the F2’s or the straight run line are so uniform

Baglung nepal

This is purple female , of two purple females this is the thin one with crazier structure, very nice grow fast acting, early flower onset , dont need much attention and care :) and not loud in smell yet, very good candidate for guerilla outdoor mother, easy 3meters high with care and sun and soil 4meters

This is my Mountain Gold regular clone.
She's 105 days above ground and almost 6 weeks since up-potted to the 3 gal. Living soil 4' tall. Threw the first hair almost 2 weeks ago.

My plan is to up-pot it to a 30 or 45gal with living soil and vermicompost at the appropriate time and see the results.
This is an experiment to see how I might incorporate this technique for controlling size that I've heard vermontman, dubi, neville ect. describe into my grow. Always fun to try something new.

Looking for suggestions as when to make the switch?
