OAXACAN GOLD
Clone C
Ready for the pick! This lady has a very pungent fragrance of lemon cleaner and pine and is a real work horse, solid and dense, almost all meat and no potatoes.
And this mom crossed with Hawaiian Sativa Kona Gold is the mother to all of this seasons MOUNTAIN GOLD seed.

Green Mountain Grape
crossed with Mulanje Gold
She a strange one of all the sweetness of the Grape and the Mulanje curiously mostly what I smell from her is garlic? Be keen to see how she cures. I know Garlic bud was a famous BC strain back in the day.

Hello @sgka
Your youngsters are looking very happy under your care. If I remember correctly you are running Green Mountain Grape in the bsack and up front the Mountian Gold? You can see the difference already in the leaf structure.
Yes VM that's correct. I was going to take a photo yesterday but they're cruising along so fast I'm falling behind on the watering. Everything else I do is automatic watering so I guess it's time to plumb that back in to the little veg tent I have. I'm hoping that I may be able to pick out males vs. females by the time I need to take cuttings to refill one of my tents (2 weeks). They're at node 4 of true leaves at this point. Many side branches already forming. Might still be a little early, but we'll see.

In your experience have these strains showed preflowers earlier or do they really need to grow old to show them (in veg)?

A garden update, I required the plant height to be no more than 3'. Not the best representation of a Mountain Gold but hey it's my first outdoor grow and was the only space available. Ended up with 20+ growth points and lots of smaller buds. It definately is putting on more weight now and I'll likely leave it out as long as it's free from mold. The smell is sweet and fruity from this lady. My indoor grows never put out the fragrance that this one has.

I wanted to know how your Mulanje Gold behaves? What fragrance does it give off on stem, flower and burn? What effect does it have?
Violent plants, I love your style, as usual very heavy in the face.
Hummm !!! This bitch makes my mouth water, garlic and herbs ;)

Hello @befa
The stem rub is a bit pine but in an indescribable sweet way, even on some males. The stem rub often leaves your finger tips a bit sticky. I have bred her down to flower in 9 to 10 weeks. on 11.5 light hours Some plants will herm if they don't get the light they like. Almost never outdoors in subtropical winter at 10.5 hours light, but some will herm simply if the lower brances are not getting enough light indoors under lights. The taste is creamy sweet with a bit of honey aftertaste on the tongue. One can get hit in the frontal lobe before the joint even leaves your lips from the first hit. Some plants have a racy high and can make one anxious and distorted in balance.
Some plants have a pineapple fragrance, others the smell of creamsicle here that is vanilla ice cream with an orange glaze. They definitely need special attention to the grow to get them right. Because I focus on northern outdoor friendly plants, I dont do much breeding with them I just keep and work them because they are so special.

Usually when you start to get mold on the Grape it is almost time to pick. But simply cut or pinch out the moldy bits and leave as long as you can, keeping a real close eye on her. The good thing is at least here, is I always get a respectable harvest from Grape, even picked just a little early. Wishing you one more sunny week, every bit helps.
