Lyric's Born is also pretty cool. Haven't seen him mentioned yet.
Yeah. He's good. But it's kinda funny. He's singing soul-ish music...but he's asian. Not that that's bad. But it always makes me laugh. His first monaker was Asia Born, afterall.

"You need a bad operation..."

I guess it's an age thing. Rap today is a whole different beast than when it got started. Today’s songs are more complex on even more complex beats. BUT, you have to respect the guys that really did it with two turntables and a microphone.

The one that was never released. Contradiction in terms IMO...then again I didn't grow up around the type of negativity generally associated with it's culture, so it's not something I can generally relate to...

Hands down the best rap/hip hop CD is
The Coup - Genocide & Juice

Immortal Techs revolutionary vol. 2 is very good too yea, but way too sinister and political to be played on loop :woohoo:

Lots of good stuff out there that's for sure..

I agree with Alex that Aquemini is prolly the best track for track. Outkast has been one of my favorites for many years now. Got turned onto them with "ATLiens"..that song that goes "You and me, your momma and your cousin too..cruisin down the street on vogues comin up slammin Cadillac doors."
