Yesterday, I freed the beasts! The scrog net was no longer serving my best interest. A little super cropping, removed a few leaves that were just piling up, have been fighting some serious humidity, I pulled the girls open and now they are wall to wall in by 2.5ft x 5ft,(76cm x 152cm) tent.

Yesterday’s work…

I feed them this morning…
5 gallons water
1tsp protekt
3tsp calmag plus
1tsp epsom
2tsp jacks bloom 10-30-20
1tsp jacks finish 7-15-30
1Tblsp Molasses.

Girls are recovering well, RH was finally under 50%, lights slightly raised. Even though I am using a salt based fertilizer, I can see the springtails scurrying around when I feed.

Hi GM... nice thread! Very interested in your zomia collective Thai seeds. Been thinking about the very grow you are doing. Ace panama and Something from zomia. I wondered if the zomia are worth it. Any nanners?
Hey Blondie,

Thanks for checking out my grow! No nanners so far, these squirrel tails are growing about 2-3 times as fast. its been a lot of work taming these girls for a tent grow. Hopefully my little grow and show is helpful.

Flo, I had to clean her up a bit, I was getting some twisting new growth that just wasn’t getting any light.

Thanks Tyrone!

Flo has some chocolate thai in her bones. Thats why I was hoping to cross with squirrel tail. Using DJ Short’s expertly bred stock instead of yet another NL or Skunk cross.

Nothing against NL or Skunk, just not for this project.
Hell yes! The Flo F5 has both the Chocolate Thai (from Mom) and the Juicy Fruit Thai (From Dad) in it. Lovely idea reconnecting her with her roots. I love seeing how the Blues are manifested in outcrosses. Will be following with great interest.

Day 44 of 11/13

Girls are looking great, so i took them outside for a bit this morning. They seems to be drinking less water and my dehumidifier has been struggling with the michigan summer humidity.

I sprayed em all down with some distilled water to prevent any pollen from taking hold and to give my girls a little rinse.

I sprayed em down with distilled water, rotating them 90 degrees every 15 minutes.

I gave them a good drink of a light “tea”, giving them each a dixie cup at a time. Not really a flush, just a thorough watering.

6 gallons water
2 tsp epsom salt
a couple flakes of kelp
2 tsp of FF big bloom
Tblsp molasses
3 tsp malted barley
Ph’d 6.4

I beat the crap outta my outside Flo last night like she owes me money. She’s recovering well.

Feeding the girls again.

3 gallons dechlorinated tap
1 tsp Jacks Bloom 10-30-20
1 tsp Jacks Finish 7-15-30
3/4 tsp epsom
1 tblsp molasses

added a bit more water till ec was about .85, ph 6.45

All plants have trichomes, this will probably be the last feeding for the
baby flo, we are finishing week 6 today, trichs starting to get cloudy, no amber even on the leaves, the colder temp in my basement may stretch her past the normal growth cycle.

A friend of my father-in-law with decades of experience is not running her usual commercial grow due to falling prices but she has a squirrel tail outside in the Michigan sun. Thats a Flo hiding on the bottom.
