purple weed,wether it be gdp or what it is purple weed.and some i grew,but it was called gdp when i bought some,i grew some that was better than alot that i have bought.last yr tho.found it in a gdp store bought bag,

i got my grape ape from the breeder him self.

Ok ok. I tried to sit this out and not say anything. But i'm gonna harass (sp) some folks. I HAD a "grandaddy" clone that took ten weeks, was VERY slow in veg and was a low yeilder. My clone was also sorta light green and the fans had a weird downward curl to it. Looked like green chicken feet :smile: In flower it had almost no stretch. I "think' i had the same cut as BluntitUp. Recently i've seen pics of other "grandaddy" clones that looked like they are decent yeilders and in veg the plant looked more like Urkle (like i've been told by certain folks). Even stretched about %50+

So which is it fellas? Low yeilding 10 week strain thats super slow in veg and has no stretch? Or decent yeilding 9-10 week strain that has a normal veg and OK stretch? I tossed mines because i couldnt get enough clones off of it in any decent amount of time because of the slow veg. I also tossed the one clone i had in flower because it was time for a new cycle and coudn't wait for one plant to finish. I hope what i tossed wasnt the "real" one, it was very disappointing on the growth tip...

i want to put the grandaddy and the bubba dutch side by side...same with the grape

S4vvy, your gdp sounds exactly like mine besides the clones. To make gdp almost black you gotta take it to 10 weeks. When flipped to 12/12 there is barely stretch at all. Im 100% positive that mine is a real gdp since i got it from a buddy in mendocino that had strictly been growing this strain for years. My last grow i did a kfb bucket and a dwc bucket. The dwc bucket had 2 girls in there. Vegged them for 5 weeks. Flowered for 10. Yield was 19oz. With a green strain i can easily double that yield.

where the fuck is a patient in california with these genetics . im a patient and i dont have any clones. im growin some royale purple from a friend right now. but i hella wanna go big now.

I personnally think the royal comes out better in potency but yeilds less ... even though gdp is very potent ...
