Like I said, as a MM user U did the right thing. But for someone that is growing 100% illegaly this is not an option. For example I live in a fenced property and if they want to talk to me thay have to be on my property (the house is in the middle of it).. And without a warrant they have no right to be on my property. So the thing would be "get the warrant or go away". And without a warrant they cant just wait on your porch or garden till one of them brings a warrant. If they wouldnt leave, well I guess they would have to deal with 2 rottweilers.

However mate, I wish you all the best and dont want that a few plants over the limit puts you in any kind of trouble. :wink:

Hey Mickymouse, just curious as to why you keep bringing up the fact that they probably had your power records? What does this have to do with anything? Unless you were not paying your bill or stealing power there should be no red flags concerning power consumption. As far as people that live with you, if they are so easy to give you up to the cops then you might want to rethink who you choose to hang around with, and they certainly shouldn't know you grow.

They go for guns anytime they raid anyone.They allways want you to rat out someone.go for bigger fish.dont you ever watch cops. Taking my shit is right .They were taking it.He got on phone talked to supervisor about card.Decited not to take it.I lost nothing but a few buds.THEY CAN AND WILL GET A WARRENT.I kow people that has happened to.They dont allways get one first.How many times has the cops came to your door and left because you told them to.They smelled weed that is probabel cause right there.Do you really think they are just going to pack up and leave.I will have my card in a week and be growing again soon. The reason YOU were the subject of an investigation will never be known as there was no arrest . Remember that you always have the right to face your accuser in court . Since they did not arrest you , their is no recorded record . Now only speculation to what tipped them off . They must have been disappointed , because a task force usually wont get off their asses for anything under $1mil. in product and/or assets (Neighbors head of SWAT). For future reference , a search warrant must be specific ; ie , a room in said house , or garage , and must specify initially what they are looking for . A detached garage would require a separate warrant from one that specified your house . Knowing your state laws is a valuable tool . Also ,as said before , never answer the door . If you feel you must speak with them (when they come back) , use another exit and meet them around front . Then escort them to the sidewalk while informing them they are trespassing . Now they will speak to you , but you have put them off balance from your use of your rights . Knowledge is power , use it . Good luck !

sure they edit reality tv.Mybe people should watch cops and see what happens when you fight the cops.Personaly I have never lived it.But the people getting busted are no actors.When someone fights the cops and gets tazed thats not fake.When they bust a dealer and get him to rat out someone that is real life. So you people think they are just going to go away because you dont let them in.I was busted no 2 ways about it.They didnt pick my name out of a hat.They smelled weed that was good enough to come in.They probadly didnt have enough evadance to get a warrent but if you dont let them in they will get it.It happened 2 days after my bust.If they looked they could have found alot of reasons.Is it worth 10 grand to make them wait an hour to get a warrent and still get busted.Allso for finding how I got busted I dont care.Im legal now and I have a good idea.

Well, we can all talk how we would react when a cop would appear, but many of us havent been in a situation like that. Personally I would do like I said in the previous posts.

But If I was in mickeys situation my reaction would be the same as his. He is a medical marijuana user and he is disabled. So cooperating with the cops (in his situation) can only help him. Theres no way for him to go to jail (even if he had 200 flowering plants). In the worst scenario possible he would get some home confinment.
He could piss the cops off and let them know that he know his rights and that they cant play "ranger walker". Maybe they would find enough clues to get a real warrant. but by that time he could get rid of the extra plants.

Non-cooperating with the law and commiting a crime (extra plants) can lead to the loss of his MM licence.

watching tv is no way to get any kind of real info. the reality tv world is just an edited version of real life and nothing like how it really is...such as very few people getting busted in real life are asked to turn in others and rarely is there a bubba in the cell next to you waiting to rape some young dude...that is the tv world! i was busted 9 years ago with a rather large garden of 80-some plants and friends have been caught since then with gardens yet not one of us were asked anything about what others are doing. i was even caught with brothers grimm mail (i was their mailman when they 1st started) yet nothing came of that either...just a couple years probation that was canceled 14 months later after i got my med use license.

I got a possession charge dismissed by the prosecutor when I denied permission to search my vehicle and the cops went ahead and searched anyway.
