How was it wrong they where coming in one way or another.Do you think if I said no they would just go away.You need to watch Cops more.

MickeyMouse you made a decent decision in opening your door and letting them in. Not saying it was the best possible choice but because of the fact you turned yourself in they will be more lenient because you made their job easier. Its kinda like if I go to rob someone and then they handover their wallet, empty their pockets and give me their car keys, all while looking at the floor. I wont kill them, maybe just tie them up and gag them in a way they can escape after a while, so I might seem like a nice robber because of the fact they are still breathing but in reality i'm an asshole. One thing you need to know, THE POLICE ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND and they never will be unless you are one of them or in the military. You saying someone needs to more watch COPS proves how brainwashed you are into thinking that these tactics they use on the show lead to convictions, I wonder how many hours of footage they have of cops fucking up that will never be released to the public. Why do you think they never do follow ups on people, chances are alot of people get off or something.
I think they may indeed have just gone away. Quite frankly, it's happened to me. I've had both situations, where I refused a search and they left, never to return. Yes, they gave me a stiff browbeating first. I've also refused a search and had them go ahead anyway, and had the entire case go bye-bye because they didn't have probable cause. Had I consented, I would have been convicted. You are rationalizing. You do not have any evidence that they would have pursued the issue. However, in the event that they did, you would still have a defense in court. What you've done is thrown that possibility out the window. There's no such thing as an illegal consent search. I know you don't want to admit to yourself that you fucked up, but the fact remains that is exactly what you did.

how do you know they would of got a warrant..if they had enough for a warrant they would of showed up with one.thats the whole point of knock n talk.they get you to open the door then they can lie and say they smell weed or whatever.watch never get raided, he said that if he could get them to open the door there was a 95 percent chance he is getting in.. if a cop can get a warrant theyll get it before they confront you.. thats the whole purpose of a knock n talk they dont have enough for a warrant..stop watching cops man, you can learn a bit more from dea on spike.it really shows how they work "officially", it shows their weakness and limitations..their alot dirtier in real life when they dont have cameras on them, but if you force them to bust down your door and they dont have a warrant you win.you didnt want them to be mad at you thats why you opened the door??this is why streaming video on cell phones are important..so when they get mad at you and mess you up youll have it on footage and they wont be able to delete anything or break your phone..and you can sue them..
i have a security door and a rottweiler for this very reason; because of the way my entry is with lighting someone outside can never see in through the security door, lots of little small holes, but i can out see perfectly... depending on the situation i'll let my dog go crazy and bark em down while she bangs on the door or i'll just talk to them through it; i'm in a friendly state and med compliant so rippers are the real danger; cops are supposedly now our friends but i'll believe it when i see it
but yeah; never let the cops in and always keep everything in the trunk while you're driving... oh and if a cop is trying to get you to talk to em ask them if they are detaining you then if they say no tell them you are leaving and that if they want you to stay they'll have to detain you and then once they detain you tell them that you'd like to exercise your right to a lawyer and you'd like their supervisor to be present so they can justify their reason for your detention as you're sure that your lawyer would like to know the reason behind this violation of your civil rights.

your inside thier outside knockn waitn for you to answer your door they havent kicked your door in. hence they'll either wait untill some1 arrives outside or till you come out. or they'll wait untill another officer brings out a signed search warrent. now unless theres a judge thats rubber stamped search warrents them things take time. enough time to get rid of your grow unless your grown several thousand watts and 3-4 rooms full
when they arrive back with search warrent and gain entry your chit is gone maybe just equipment still up which isnt ilegal by itself. yes they would most likely be quite upset with ya but hey no evidence because it was munched up in the garbage disposal and or flushed down tolet after being cut up smaller. so what if they smell it it's no where to be found and ya wouldnt be in your current position again i truely am srry your in it

I know that the procedure I talked about is applyed in Italy, Slovenia (where I live), France, Austria and so on.
They can knock your door down only if they have the suspect that you are armed and dangerous. But in a situation like this you dont see the flashing lights, you just wake up in the middle of the night with a group of guys with auto guns in your bedroom.

I know the cops are not my freind.I said they where cool about it.Like I said there was a guy a couple days after me that got busted.He said no to entry.They got a warrent in a little over an hour.He was arreested and taken to jail had to post bond.My door was open so they knew I was home.All my stuff was in a ditached garage.No way to get to it.Iv been through this before 15 years ago I got a knock about ordering seeds.I said no to a search.They said if I let them in they would take my stuff and leave if it was a small grow.I did they took my stuff and never heard a them again.Im positive I made the right choice.The town I live in is like a little Detroit gangs and murders all the time.There not to worried with someone like me.I had 10 grand in equipment and seeds that I would have lost and couldnt replace.I guess we wont know if I made the right desision until it over.Allso when is not pissing of a cop a good idea.When you get pulled over for a ticket do you start spouting all rights and cusing the cop to get out of the ticket.

WHY on earth didn't you just say: " NO WARRANT- NO DISCUSSION" and shut the door? If the filthy cops COULD get a warrant, they WOULD have gotten one. By the way, you say your ' friend' told cops to leave and they got a warrant; that could be true ONLY if they gained some probable cause from the visit or had it to begin with. Cop CANNOT tell a judge that you are simply refusing to cooperate and tha is reason for a warrant... thats nonsense. I don't care what you pals tell you, it is NEVER in your best interests to give a cop anything whatsoever...WHY in hell should WE give something that will harm us to a cop? Its insane! Your case is a perfect example of what NOT to do.
Also, lets say the cops went away and somehow managed to get a warrant...at least you would have that amount of time to get rid of evidence, etc. Use your rights or lose them...thats all there is. You made a bad mistake..admit it and from now on gt tough and tell them NO!

Everybody posting that this man made the wrong decision is a complete moron. He is disabled. His grow was detached from the house. He would have lost 10k worth of equipment he couldn't replace.
Because he cooperated, he lost some meds. That is probably it. I doubt he will even have charges filed against him.

If his set up was different, or if he was more able bodied, or if he already had his paperwork, or if he was growing within his limits, then yes, he had options.
He has made it clear that he had very few options here.
The cops did him a favor by not filing for a search warrant. If they had asked a judge for permission to raid his spot, you can bet your balls that he would have been in JAIL, all his equipment would have been CONFISCATED, and he would be looking at a very miserable next few months of court room litigation.
Obviously you people giving advice have watched too much cops, "how to never get raided", dea, and you haven't learned a damned thing. These cops don't waste there time knocking on a door for no reason. They're not as dumb as you think these days. They are looking for organized crime, violent offenders. I dont know about laws in the US, but in the european union seeds are legal, so is the equipment, so theres no fucking way that the cops get the warrant because you bought your seeds or equipment. Even if they wait in front of the shop and you tell them..."look guys, Im Mr. X, I live here and there and i ve just bought some SSH seeds" . Maybe they will be more around in the area you live in, but dont have any serious evidence to get a warrant. So even if they show up on your door, do like the other guys here said...."get a warrant or get off of my property "

Immagine that you call the cops from a public phone and say that your neighbour is growing.....Do you think that a judge would sign a warrant based on this ?! He has also his reputation to take care of. If this was possible I would call the cops at least 100 times when I was at high school before an exam... "Maybe the teacher is growing"
If someone makes a complaint that you are growing and has some kind of evidence and can testify in court, they get a warrant and have no need to show up without one. But that person can be also sanctioned if he lies.
If they had a warrant your lawyer can find out what were the clues and if the procedure was correct (if it was based on bullshit, you are free in a few hours) .
People, we are in a risky business, so you have to know your rights. Before you start growing you should first inform yourself about drug laws in your country.

If you are a MM user and disabled there wont be any jail (100%), maybe there will be a small sanction, but nothing serious. Maybe they didnt get a warrant because of your situation (this means that they were kind enough or just knew that you wont piss them off) but i seriously doubt it.
We are just speaking to new growers that see a cop on their door and piss in their pants and let him in. If they have serious evidence, they dont do this stuff, they just get a warrant.

The only thing they have on me is overlimit on # of plants and growing before card is in hand.If I got jacked they where good.They had guns badges offical clothes and paper work 5 of them all with police cars.They left my stuff because I had a card in the mail.I think if I had my card in hand I would still have my pot.By the way they wanted the guns.I didnt have any.Allso wanted me to rat on someone moving LBS or growing.I told them I grow my own that I know no one.Which is true.

They might not of had serious evidence.They could get it though fast. They knew everyone that lives in the house.They ask who lived at my old address.probadly had power records.
