Actually, we DO get it: you got ripped by four grown men wearing camo at 3am Sunday morning. They jumped your 9-foot fence, but your two dogs slept through most of it. You only caught on after they fled, leaving a trail of plant debris. Correct? People tend to think it was kids because they were dumb enough to steal worthless plants.

You've received a lot of solid advice, but mostly I see you lashing out at people who missed some details around your story. So far, the only security measure you've said you're going to pursue is going to your cabin and grabbing your "arsenal." And you are well within your Second Amendment rights to do so, but I'm still wondering what you're going to do to harden the perimeter of your property.

Still, this thread has been instructive to some people. A few more gardens will be more secure as a result.

My intention is not to lash out at people who missed some detail, only trying to reiterate my position. Sorry to everybody who has received a poor attitude from me, I am very sorry. Not an excuse, but I haven't slept in two days now, so I would imagine I am not thinking strait.

You are right, that is the only security measure I have posted about, but don't make the mistake thinking I am doing nothing. In fact, at the end of this grow I am going to make the best defense thread ICmag has ever seen. Right now, security is too high for me to make such comments. I can only hope these guys still think something is left, because my spider web is strung and I lie in wait. (don't confused that lost comment thinking I am going to blast these fools)

As for the best approach for catching these guys......Catching them red handed. I am hoping if they come back they take their time like last time. If I see them early on, the cops and I have talked about a plan to squeeze them off at the end of the block. So all I have to do is call the cops and hope for the best. I have to say that the cops have really been great, and seem like they really want to catch this guy.

So sorry to near this OB but you WILL bounce back. shit sucks, I've been there done that. It happened at the absolute lowest time of my life too (dog had died of cancer,had to put him to sleep a few days after my bday, broke my ankle and was In Bed for 4 months after surgery etc etc...) and that harvest was the only light at the end of the tunnel.

Like you said overhead indoors is VERY expensive especially if you live in a large city. I was practically all in on a 12kw setup and lost my ass when rippers took my shit while it was drying.

Put me In a very fucked up place for a bit. I'm not shady at all but it makes you see things ALOT differently. I try to help whomever I can and always be there for friends and people in need. Unfortunately alot of that changed When my house got broken into.

luckily I had a few friends help me out and it helped my situation ALOT until I could reharvest. I had no choice but to stay. I really didn't want to but I did and now it's over a year later and I'm back on my feet.since then I have def took up an Interest In Guns and have no problem using them if I have to.

Worst part was My GF was home when it all went down and after experiencing this sort of betrayal you realize in the end it's either them or you. These Type of people dont give afuck about you. No ifs ands or buts about that.

Not trying to condone violence but no one will ever strong arm me or my family In My house. The way the robbery at my house went down it made me realize the robbers WANTED me to come downstairs after I'd realize my breakers were tripped. Once I went down there to fix the issue in The dark I would have prob been tied up and they woulda had free reign of the house and my fucking GF! Who the fuck knows if they would have raped her or some sick shit like that?

In the end I can say I've learned alot from this and that's all I got. I still enjoy helping people out but back then I woulda given you the shirt off my back if we were stuck In A snowstorm. But not anymore.... and to be honest with you I used to believe in Karma. But not anymore man. My life has been pretty fucked up for the last couple Years and the only explanation I have for it is......shit happens.

I'm still not happy about my situation but like I said shit happens. One of my childhood friends was doing work and bringing shit from Mex right after we got out of HS. He got popped and did a 10 year bid. He Just got out and you know what he tells me? Shit happens. He had TEN FUCKING years to think about why he put too large a load in his ride and thought he'd be able to bring it from point A to point B without any issues. He's straight as an arrow now but you live and you learn. Like was said it either breaks you or makes you.

I'd done this for so long I thought Everything was good. Seeing the good in some people really gives you back a lotta hope you lose in humanity especially after someone close to you tries to rob you.

Makes you realize that Sometimes some people are only around for the right opportunity to capitalize on and that some people are Fucking pieces of shit.

Was thinking of posting it around the local shops and saying wanted rapist, lol. I for sure got good shots of two of the guys faces. They climbed over the fence and stood in front of the camera for a solid 5 min. Night vision shots, but still a good shot. I can tell I didn't know them from anywhere, but now I will keep my eye out. It's one of those things where I would bet these guys live or work within 2 miles of my house.

Things like that to make sure they know I know, and are ready to get the police involved if they don't already know.

If you post a warning that you have cameras, then they'll just wear baggier clothing and masks/gloves so you won't even know if they're white/black/male/female/anything...

i have decided to clean this thread up and bring it back. securing our plants from rippers is important after all.
