Got Busted.. Here's My Story. What Can I Do?

i think you'll end up up with 1 year probation drug court or simaler classes or what not...and around 2000 in fines and 200 in court fees and about 3500 to 5000 for your lawer I dont know where you are but ask your lawyer about mail in probation....it;s the only way not to piss in a cup....and know that you have gotton fucked by the man ....take a stand your already on there radar so become active... have a voice

they're really fucking after me. just got pulled over again for my "loud muffler" and they immediatly started asking questions. why are you so shaky? because my windows down and im freezing. do you have any marijuana or drugs in your car? oh and it was the same cops so they asked me that question literally 50 times. asked me where i came from and shit..

they were trying to get me to budge so bad that i said fuck it and budged.. after the 100th "if you just got drug charges and you have nothing in your car, why can't we just search real quick?".. i tried telling them i was in a rush to get home and they kept saying i was changing my story. them they asked me that question 100 times and finally i said fuck it, search my car. i knew my car and my person was completely clean so i finally budged and gave them permission to search..

as soon as i said the words "fine", they pulled me out of the car, spread my legs, ran my pockets, my socks, belt line, everything.. found nothing. brought the drug dogs, again... tore my fucking car apart, found nothing. they kept interrogating me because they didn't find me.. asked me 100 questions about my drug use and a bunch of other bullshit.. all i said was that my arrest a week ago reformed me and other than that, i cant say anything without my lawyer. sorry. they were pissed, but they shook my hand and let me go..


.........i was respectful but this is fucking bullshit. if they think there gonna bust me for another half gram of shitty weed and than try to get me to rat out a drug dealer (like they have been doing and did today), there fucking crazy.. im not getting busted again and im not telling them shit. i have my rights.

...obviously i got caught up in my small town's drug task force radar and there never going to leave me alone. my stupid mistake and that little drug bust is going to haunt me for the rest of my life.. great

Wow bro, stop driving around that area and change your car up, use your mom or dads for a couple weeks. I stopped installing loud mufflers and loud systems on my cars solely for the purpose of evading police. The car i drive now is so chill and family oriented that cops barely look twice at me.

They obviously think you are a small little fish, who if hooked and set free, can yeild a bigger fish. They are trying to scare you into snitching so they can move their case forward. Pathetic, fuck police seriously, it saddens me to hear you are being harassed.

Back to your charge, two misdemeanors is nothing. I garuntee you they will offer you a plea bargain, maybe plead NO CONTEST to one charge and accept a fine and community service and the other will get dropped, thats classic district attorney trying to keep the case files moving. If they offer you a deal, i say take it, if you try to man up and fight both charges you might get stuck with both, plus you will waste more of your lawyers time.

Unless you and your lawyer have cause for a ILLEGAL search which will set you off the hook for good.

Also, how much are you paying your lawyer, you shouldnt be paying more than 2grand for them to help you with this, dont get raped by lawyers fees, its almost worse than the actual court fines and punishment.

Prime example, me and my boy both get arrested for DUI. He lawyers up for two grand, and ends up eating the charge anyways. Now he owes the court money AND his lawyer money.

Me, i said fuck it, public defendered up for $200, pled no contest and got the basic sentence of 1 day jail, 1600 fine, and a couple months drug treatment/community service. My boy has to do all that PLUS pay his lawyers for their "help"

SO DONT GET RAPED BY YOUR LAWYER EITHER! you honestly sound kinda naive, so im just looking out for you.

Oh yea, and make sure you take the PAYMENT PLAN on your fine, taht way you only have to pay a measly $50 a month in court fines.

Than don't come to this thread and try.. I let them search my car because I knew it was completely clean and so was I. The only thing I was scared of was them planting something or saying something stupid like my cigarette ashes will be tested since the dog had an odd look on its face or something. I didn't get in trouble so what's the big fucking deal. Obviously they are cracking down on some drug or weed ring in my area and they think that I'll help them with it, i wont.. I will never have shit on me, in my car, or anything again so the only thing I'm worried about is them harrasing me for the rest of my life because I know they will already. I will hardly even ever have weed at all anyways for awhile because I can't afford it with the fines, lawyer fees, ect.. after all this bullshit..

And I can't stop driving in my neighborhood in my town, I go to school and I'm starting a job it's impossible.. So they can harrass me for the rest of my life or whatever they want, I'm not getting in trouble again. And maybe my new pizza delivery job will take some heat off my car, hopefully....

and how are you so sure? i only got possesion charges so hopefully i will. but obviously im being investigated for trafficing or something by my local drug enforcement (bullshit they even spend my small towns tax dollars on a drug task team, because theres no real criminals to bust around here and god forbid an officer got in real criminal danger).

either way, im broke and really need that $77. shit, it will probably only go towards my fines/lawyer. and as for my lawyer, she estimated about $1.5k or more for my case, I don't expect to pay over $2k. ill talk to her about my seized money at my meeting with her tuesday.

Your not getting that money back.... They are probably going to make you forfit it during your plea. Be greatfull it's only $77 I had a friend who had 50g's siezed along with his house and car... Don't feel stupid about what you did and don't appologize, we're here to help! But checking this section out from time to time is a huge benefit. The harassment will only last so long, yea they will break your balls in the begining but after awile it will all blow over. All that stuff they said about knowing your a dealer... BULLSHIT! just a technique they use to get you to admit something. Now if you would have said " yea I am a dealer" well that right there is all the would need to tack on another charge, even if they had no evidence.. Because you just admitted guilt capise? I seriously doubt you will be getting that money back. Just ask the lawyer she will tell you. The police use all that money to fund things, your lucky they didn't sieze your car! That could have been a real possibilty... Hope everything works out for you, keep us posted.

agreed since your Miranda right were not read get a good lawyer and fight it too the fullest cause that was their big mistake but in the mean time remeber whats in your car..........oh try to get the lawyer to ask for the footage from the dash cam cause that can help your case alot proof that you were arrested without rights.........
