why would you flush with any nutrient when the purpose of the flush is to get all nutrient out of the medium & plants ????
plain water for 2 weeksi start plain water feeds on the glue at day 50
There are some that dont like starving the plant as they finish and die. Feeding light and letting senescence occur naturally is the thought here.

Hmmmm... Interesting read Hammerhead. I never thought about it like that. I`m just a simple guy trying to grow good smoke for my customers. I`m always willing to learn. Thanks for the article!

my humble glue ... they are not really chunky,but they have a nice density,not rock hard dense, but the kind of density i want in marijuana...my pics can't convey,but face to face they are like shimmering jewels
just the look alone is off the charts in terms of frost...and they are sticky & the smell is soooo f*cking gooooood!!
is this good for day 50 glue? day 70 seems along way to go...like forever

so i have a slight problem, but it's a luxurious one
i'm finding the 6 inch square trellis net is totally inadequate to support gg4 in a scrog ...some of the branches are sagging down & if i want to do better they'll need to be strung up from above (which will involve accessing hard to reach areas of my grow.. bit of a pita but if i got 20 more days then i need to do this...i could take nugs right now for a sample if i wanted too
just rambling here...pay no heed

Star - I use 6" trellis and it works fine. Heres some tips. The trellis needs to be taught, no looseness at all. I install the trellis at 3 weeks into flower after the stretch is done. Its a pain in the ass moving the plants around and putting the trellis in this late but saves you the trouble youre dealing with now. Also the trellis should be installed around 12" under the top of the canopy. Since I`ve implemented these things I haven't had a single cola fall over and Im growing some monsters. Hope this helps!

my scrog is 5 x 6 and quite taut , but i did no real training other then to spread out the branch’s and try to fill each square as they stretched up in the net(which i did
) lol it's kinda floppy nowThey're looking great star!
I can't offer advice on the trellis but if you're interested 65 days is good too! At least 63

if i can get mine 2 look 1/10'th as good as yours does i'll be quite satisfied ...
am i anxious? yes...i installed a huge carbon filter & it helps a lot but it still stinks outside my house

one at day 1 flower or just before. 10 days in clean everything below trellis.
then add 2nd level of trellis like week 3-4 of flower. if timed right stretch should be just about over. pull 2nd level of trellis down so there is about 1-2inches from top cola height. use a 3ft pvc tube to get those had to reach areas to push down trellis.
at harvest you should be able to lift up the 2nd upper trellis an reuse it for next run. things will flop over. cut all the colas just above lower trellis to pull out an trim. 1st level trellis can then be lifted up off main plant structure an reused again.
some stretchy mofo's u gotta add a 3rd layer trellis.

Looking very good Mr Crash!!!that second pictureis pure frost mate!I can´t really make a 100% judgement since you know about my one and me still unsure about her,but i can tell you my one i cut it at in between 63 and 65 day flower(milky trics no ambers at all) and it kills you,its fucking strong mate,so be carefull going to 70 days or you might expend the next few weeks leaving everything you have to do for next year,and this one has only startedmy humble glue ... they are not really chunky,but they have a nice density,not rock hard dense, but the kind of density i want in marijuana...my pics can't convey,but face to face they are like shimmering jewels
