It does my heart good to know that there are still some good people out there willing to share their knowledge and experience for free. Most people would have kept that cut for themselves but you being as generous as you were with it has made it what it is today. Thank you very much for your generosity, more people should do the same and this planet would be that much better for it. Peace and good growing.

I have a question for my fellow glue growers out there. I am a new grower and right now I have 4 glues going. They have been vegging for about 6 weeks and right now my canopy is just over 4 feet by 4 feet with my plants being around 14-16 inches tall. I have been LSTing these girls the whole time.

Now I am getting ready to flip them over to 12/12 and I would like some advice on strapping them down with trellis netting. Since I am inexperienced I don't know what way is best. Do I put the trellis directly on my plants and use a couple layers as they stretch or is it better to build some sort of PVC cage around them and attach the trellis to that like dansbud has in his pictures above? My trellis nets come in today so any input would be greatly appreciated.

You can do it either way. You can't go wrong if you do what Dan does, he's one of the best.

chunky monkeys. The harder I lollipop the fatter the buds get.
Might just chop to the top nodes next time ha.

if you do like i did , put the net about 8 to 10" above the plants so that they stretch up into it . they stretch for 21 days & this way you can spread out & tuck the branches as they grow up into the net .

thanks dan, im gonna bump mine up. i was going to weave her into my screen for a week, then let her come up off it after flip, guess she would need another trellis then...

yeah , flip first , then let them come up & do your weaving during the stretch . she stretches forever !!! 3 weeks is a long time & she does get pretty lanky lol

with mine , it takes the first week just to come above the net , then 2 weeks of spreading out the branches & tucking the longer ones .

with the 2 lights & 2 trays , 6 plants per tray i was getting between 25 to 35zips per light , strain dependant . i've added a 3rd light in between the 2 to try & bump the yields a bit , plus its just a better spread of light with my low ceilings . the outer edges of the trays weren't getting enough light , & i could see it in the buds .

some of my best runs were in my attic at my last spot , i had 2600 watts over a 4 x 8 ..... this is 3k watts over a 4 x 8 ..... it should do very nicely for me ! if i can come close to 3 per tray ..... i'll be happy

You are running 3000 watts on 4 X 8? Are they Gavita DE's, and if so do you have to dim them?

I am about to build state of the art LED's and a RDWC system.

Sorry, did not see that you said it was 3k on a 4 X 8 at the bottom of pictures.

i know that much...i know the original seeds came out of josey's garden... was this just a miraculous discovery? i apologize if this is all redundant & i know i could search but i want to interact with human beings

have any really successful gg4 dominate cross's been established yet? and replicated with seed?
