would re-vegging change it?? when i got my cuts they reverted & exhibited unusual behaviour for one whole month! this is what they looked liked like after a month of veg ..mostly all single leaflets

Finding seeds that you didn't expect I wouldn't call miraculous. The seeds that JW found where popped by marrdog. There are lot's of S1 and crosses. GG#4 dome phenos are around. Finding something more potent is unlikely. Flav profiles can add enjoyment to the high just depends on what you like.
Nothing, Revegging any cut is just the process of reverting back to veg state. This is done when no cuts where taken when it was in veg. I prefer to root cuts taken from flowering plants then revegging the plant.

but finding GG4 in seeds you didn't even expect is the definition of miraculous 
Unless you needed those buds to be seedless so you could sell them and pay your mortgage. Then it might not seem like a miracle.but finding GG4 in seeds you didn't even expect is the definition of miraculous

you're right , i wasn't thinking like that..i've been there too ,but different situations ...lost many crops to thieves & cops

for myself my observations were that once she got going (& it took time) ...then the gg4 fired into overdrive ...she's retained her vigor...in contrast i've seen 20 year old sour diesel cuts that i know are/were legit ...no vigor @ totally wimpy all around
not trying to be a prick star ..... but if you read through the thread all your questions are answered already , including crosses in seed form .

I,ve just changed my set up to something very similar to yours,but am going for 9x3 gallon pots on a 4x4 tray,if you don´t mind me asking a couple of questions: how long do you veg?would you recommend topping/lollypoping?what´s the max EC you aim for?

yes its on a timer , i feed 4 times during lights on for 20 to 30 seconds & the last feed is for 1 minute to get runoff , then i suck it out with a shop vac .

i veg for 3 weeks to a month , strain dependant . i top them a few times young so that i get 6 to 8 mains & let them veg from there .
i loli pop them after the stretch is over & the budset has started . i loli pop them pretty hard cuz i'm tired of trimming larf !!!
I max out at 1.4EC in flower .
i'll do up to 9 plants depending on the strain , but most times its 6 plants so the canopy doesn't get to thick .

I'm so tired of recurring thrips that I'm gonna finally ditch the sunshine 4 and totally revamp my process.
I'm thinking PPK for my mothers and drain to waste trays for my flowering, similar to yours. I'm tempted to go rockwool chunks and hydroton pellets like the old days tho I should get a very similar run time on feeds ect.

Lol, yeah for this thread. then there's Unc's thread from 2013, his gorilla bud pics thread, the gorilla bubble thread and the roughly 80 other threads about crosses, outdoor, s1's, etc in the stickied Gorilla Glue sub-forum.
even I'm not anal enough to add up all those entries and views in the stickie but there's probably close to 40,000 entries and somewhere over 3,000,000 views. About one strain. Legacy

With regards to how the strain came into existence, I kept getting distracted by Unc's pics when I went back to find Joesy's post on the topic. I can't remember which of the main gg4 threads it is in but my recollection is its in the first 15 pages from the start. i just copied Joesy's description from an e-mail i sent someone back then:
""i have been getting alot of questions about the gg4 so im going to tell everyone how it went down, a few years ago i was growing sour dubb and chem sister and some others, the chem sis threw a couple nanners and hit the sour dubb, i held those seeds for a year or so and finally popped 5 of them, they were ok, really had one nice pheno but i lost it in a security scare, the other 4 pheno's all hermed on me and tottaly seeded my whole stadium run, i was pissed, i got rid of all of it to a friend, marrdog. he kept alot of the seeds and about a year later we had a joint grow going and he popped i belive it was 6 of those seeds, i was really concerned that they would herm and dident have much hope for them, they were all female, we ended up with pheno's 1 2 4 and one we called the runt, all were outstanding, the clear winner though was the gg 4. so thanks to marrdog and lady luck ""
