wonderin what you guys think it would take to get em to 2?

if your legal numbers allow, or plant numbers aren't a worry, try 2 or 3 clones per bucket. those big pots you have may allow 3 cuts per bucket. there is a point where to many clones to a pot is pointless. try a pot with 2 clones next time, an try another same size with 3.

with my 3 or 5 gall ebb an flood system i try to run 2 clones per bucket. or 2 clones in a rapid rooter at time of cloning. when they are rooted an big enough, i spread the clones apart so they bush out better an dont overlap. give each cut more space

2 nice main stems i feel deliver better then 1. even if it is the same sq ft of canopy. i feel my output doesnt double with 2 cuts, but more likely around 25-30% more output in the end, vs 1 cut per bucekt

that should also shave off veg time.

also i have noticed that the double ended lights seem to be more intense then an other hortilux i have ran. but double ended lighting can throw a curve ball trying to get the plant/root system to be properly matched to amount of light given. they will consume themselves if root system & or nute program cant keep up.

just my take......... b well

Just something I picked up along the way, not really sure where from.

I run a perpetual style tent and giving each cultivar an "efficiency ratio" has helped me in deciding which ones to keep running.

For example if one cut is giving 2:1 bud to stem,
but another is giving 4:1, I will be able to determine which is best for the space.

I also use my fans and sugar leaves to make edibles and keep track of how much of each material went into whatever amount of oil/butter.

I guess I just like doing math and will find any excuse to do some division.

Most post #'s per light not per plant. If you veg 4 plants for a min of 30 days. Use a net you wont have any issue hitting 1.5. then tweak to increase your #'s. if your doing single plants the longer you veg they better. you will need a min of 60 days. I grow large trees no net. The largest single gg#4 was 13.7oz with a 87 day veg.

i get 1 1/14 from veggin 30 days in the big pots under 1000w. Im over that multiple small plant shit. My numbers dont allow many at all.

I veg under the big light to get more speed. Also the big pots shit grows faster man they just do any style, im aganst cramming a massive rootball into a small space these days. In fact I dont even get a rootball per se, the roots spread out so much i just replant in the same pot after i cut down no till really other than a few handfuls of stringy root i separate out.

Im on some other shit beating to my own drummer style. For instance from solo cup right into the big pots, people will tell you you cant do that but whatever it works just fine if you know how to water your plants. It only costs me $50 bucks to run the big light for a month. When I first put up pics of the 65 some peeps pmed me like dont do it wont work. I have seen studies showing roots size up their container very early on from sprout, they know how much room they got and grow accordingly.

If I veg for 60 days in my style I will have to do just one plant in there. They are already 3+ feet wide. 60 days it would be bigger than 6x6 for sure especially the way i dont let em grow up when im veggin i spread em out.

Plus once they get this size at 30 days the growth is off the charts daily. I am going to add one more week to this veg and see if they hit 1.5 each. Otherwise I think I need to increase my footprint for two plants or try 1.

Bout to get those 15 gallon pots on the side out of there and go reposition and break em down and spread em out some more heh.

They are 15 inches high im keepin em to like 13 inches high before i flip.

How in the world did you keep em so short????
Mine stretch more than what your whole plants height is!

I grew casey jones for a few years; almost exclusively, I got good at keeping plants short, especially with limited ceiling space in tents. CJ, Ecsd and Shire x SWL I have all stretch nearly 3x.

From the time they are in beer cups they get started supercropping. I used to fim, but i've noticed the supercropping is less stressfull to the plant; there is no slowing down at all. We also have started vegging for the first month under t5's. That keeps them shorter.

I'm surprised mine are not fading at all. Then again I am still dialing in the soil recipe a bit. Lowered the light a bit back down to encourage some fading.

Smoke report coming soon...

he was being a sarcastic dick..

lol..

but ya dude keep weighing shit that way.. atleast later on you will know exactly which plants /strains.. to run.. because u will know exatly how much bud to expect.and how much extract you can make..

I weigh just nug and trim.. no fans or stems..

but either way man keep up the good work..

and that soil in there could be mixed with half new and reused. just shake out the roots.. lol.. add some enzymes at first few waterings and yoru good to go man .
