Gorilla Glue #4...

This is not just an ave strain so if that's what you got its not GG#4.. How many people got screwed from buying fake GSC cuts. Don't let the same thing happen here. There is no holy grail weed. The only thing any of us have said is the GG#4 is top shelf smoke. The smell is overpowering, Potency is high. Yields are great. This is all we have ever said.. None that I know has said its the best weed ever lol..

Keep in mind that what I grow wont be the same as what some one else grows. There is a difference in smoke from garden to garden. Some wont be as good as they can be. I think there are enough pics in this thread to id your GG.


There are going to be some that don't like it. Just like with all things. I think that number will be small though

i really dont feel like were hyping it at all to be honest,everyone has simply been reporting their experience with it....if we were all getting 1000 bux a cut and talking it up that would be hype,but since thats not the case i hardly see why people think its over hyped...
i can understand you saying it maybe wasnt your cup of tea,even i dont like smoking it at times,its horrible weed if you have anything to do,its an awful wake and bake herb...i myself dont really like couch lock buzzes but i have to say i love smoking the glue,almost a year later and its still one of my all time favorites,the flavor is just so good i cant stop once i start...

I agree, I don't think this strain was hyped at all. Just Honest Opinions of those who have had her. I'm sure there will be some that don't like her There's nothing wrong with that.

my apologies on calling it hype. i wasnt trying to downplay this strain at all.

fishstick i will say its some powerful herb. just as you said if you have any plans for the day you might want to cancel them. hahaha.

ill post pics once i get back to the stash. im not trying to talk shit on the glue whatsoever. im going to reserve my future judgement of it on a verified and credible batch. i mean ive had horrible batches of clone onlys that are supposed to be elites.

last news I got today a fresh batch tested at 24% thc, haven't seen the paper work . whatever goes to the cup in l a will be tested also. we are going to need 50 grams of the best grown gg4, if any of you want to contribute hit me up.

That bodes well for the glue to test higher than the last test I saw. What lab will be testing for the LA Cup? Potency is not the end all, be all. The local cup winner was a full 5% lower than my SG GSC that I would have entered, but missed the window. I would not have expected to win, as the winner had a better terpene profile. Considering the "entourage effect" of terpenes with cannabanoids, it is no surprise that just THC/CBD numbers are not enough.
I may make it down to the Cup myself, if the move goes well, and possibly contribute in my own way...

there will be s1's I am told and some cuts, I wont say who's bringing what until its all verified and confirmed, sunsetlimited is doing all the dirty work as entry fees and footwork, he deserves a lot of karma for what he is doing and I am sure the seeds and cuts wont be free as it cost quite a bit to set this up.

I agree potency is not the deciding factor. You need all of them to mesh well together. Taste /smell/potency/Yield/Bag Appeal. I have seen many score strains that have a better taste/Aroma then strains that are more potent. typically the very strong strains don't have a good terpenoid profile. It smells and taste very earthy/hashy. Will defiantly get you very stoned but doesn't taste or smell very good.


My GSC X Q is like that very Potent but no Terpene profile that I like.

Thought I would chime in on the question of who is doing the testing at the cup. I was told that Cannasafe Analytics out of San Bernardino is doing the testing. Seems plausible since they are a sponsor of the event also and are located right there in the local area. I will confirm this, for a friend of mine is helping setup for the event and will get back to me in the next few days.

I'm driving down from Northern Cal if someone wants to hitch a ride.

seriously though,having this cut has certainly improved my lot in life and i have gotten to share it out with other good people and its helped them out and i know that some people with medical issues have been helped by it,so all in all i think its proven itself and deserves whatever accolades we can heap on it,and seriously,who cares what high times says?theres better buds and better pics all over icmag...now if it wins an icmag cup i think that means something....

Damn I wish I wasn't located on the opposite coast I would love to go to the cup or some cup. My poor ass can't afford to make it out there.

I already smell the snakes In the grass trying to cash in off the glue craze. Well if any of the cuts sell to breeders can someone atleast put that info out there so this way it doesn't wind up a scam fest like bcbd did with the girl scouts and animal that many people got fucked on.
