Gorilla Glue #4 - Part II

9 plants in a 3x3 will be fine paco, i have 9under each of my lights. if i ran 600s id still do the same. keep an eye on that stretch. girls got legs

Thanks for the advise nameless,if i end up with a sea of buds like your one i will be happy!!Last run(my first one)had a nightmare with height problems, but i changed my set up so that problem is out the window,I would´t like having to use a ladder but I have plenty of room for that now

i've been pondering on whether to put 6 or 9 in there myself . but untill i open up more room in veg , i'm stuck at 6 per tray .

Dan,do you follow any kind of rule when topping?I did it on the 4th node and will do it again as soon as the 4th node develop on the already topped stems, I also left two branches underneath were i topped, but m not sure if topping those also,if I do that will give me 8 main stems, that good enough or should i top again after that?

the best gg4 i've seen yet is dansbuds

I agree, without dissing anyone(there is very serious growers in this post),Dans buds are awesome, fat and juicy

it depends on how bushy you want the plants . i top till i get 6 or 8 main branches & let them grow out from there . i do it all at the very young stage so they are tight at the bottom & the mains can be spread out as they grow out .

each strain is going to react differently so theres no real set way of telling how many times to top it . some will throw crazy branching after topping , some will only give you 2 branches etc ..... you just have to experiment & not be afraid to top them young .

I have a bunch of these I take in the room to look at the plants. anything I think is suspect gets taken to the microscope.

B4URTime and HH both mentioned using a table top scope at home for more detailed looks at plants and stuff. Would you two (or anyone else who uses larger scopes) describe or link what you use? thanks
