My winter runs are always lousy in the yield department but man they throw off some nice colors. My GG4 ends up not looking herself during the winter which is pretty funny but whatya do? :dunno:

Thanks Dans, I appreciate the feedback. I was really hoping for a little more weight but if not then I'm sure my impatience will take over and they will come down around day 63.

What about any tricks to increase resin production? I've read about a 48 hour dark period right before harvest. Anybody try this with success?

no tricks or gimmicks are needed with gorilla glue, grow it right and it will be as frosty as anything you've grown before, if its not you did something wrong

Without a doubt JW....... Glue is the perfect name, it's just so well coated in trichomes.... you cant get quality out of a bottle.... it has to be somewhere in the genetics and the Gorilla Glue gets high marks in every box, easily cloned, easily workable, forgiving, an over abundance of growth... and the list goes on...... Del ive heard the same thing about the 2 dark days before harvest, also lower rh in the environment...... I honestly dont believe any of that works the reason that is simple.... the plants will only ever meet their genetic potential, that is if we as growers do our part..... they can only throw what their genetic code says they can throw Its up to the grower to grow them so they can meet their genetic potential.... Environment is a massive part of that....

Maybe I missed it along the way but what are your cloning methods and equipment?

Thanks for the info Josey, she is definitely a frosty bitch. It's not that she needs it I was just asking cause you can really never have too many trichs.

Considering I am a first time grower the high quality flowers on my glue make me look like a pro. I would have never of been this successful if it were not for the quality genetics to start with. Thank you sir. :tiphat:

I know, I hear what you're saying loud and clear. I'm a rookie so I'm all giddy with the fact I'm growing now and I just want to do everything I can do on my end to make it the best. Can't hate me for that.

i gotta say im glad i didnt start growing with glue. i dont think i would really understand how special it is if i hadnt grown hundreds of other plants first. it really is a grail.

smoking the glue makes me dumb as hell. ive been mashing words together and skipping parts of sentences.

also i took some cuts off 7 day flowering plants for my upcoming round and they started throwing one bladed leaves a week or two ago... im sure they will bounce back. was thinking they might be rootbound in the half gallon bags they are in. they look healthy otherwise. anyone have any thoughts?

lol I wouldn't know, I haven't had to trim her yet. My only complaint so far are her weak knees. I have buds flopping all over the place but honestly I don't know if I'm complaining or bragging seems to be a good problem to have if you ask me. Even my lowers that are in the shade are solid golf ball nuggets.

quick side note...

yesterday i gave my entire crop a good solid medium flushing & man did they respond favourably :)

don't be a dumb-ass like i just was leaving my precious plants sitting around struggling in high mineral laden pots..i wouldn't be surprised if i had poisoned my old gg4 mom from lack of flush

They will be fine. I rooted some cuts from 3 or 4 weeks into flower right now and they are vegging in solo cups. They are definitely monstercropped and revegged looking though but they'll be fine. Yours will turn around and start throwing normal leaves no problem
