Hi, from where can i get some of these seeds. I've been reading the all thread, (skiped a few parts....sorry) but i'm very impressed with the results you guys have and the comments on the high.

I can't PM .... I don't know if i can post this in here...if not please accept my appologies and remove the post.

I'm afraid there are no seeds - at present anyway. It's my home-made cross, and I'm down to the last few of each batch now, so I have to grow more out soon to make the next generation!

Ok, i know it is home made.

So after you get those F3 out what are the chances i can get a couple to make a test drive ?
Sorry for asking this in public but i can't PM, yet...

Best luck with the breedings.

i've been trying to build the courage to ask. it's kinda sketchy, but with something like this, it may well be worth it. if you've got some seeds to send out, please consider me as well.
what can i say, i'm a fan.

I've got about 20 of each batch left, so there's not much chance of that, sadly. If I can get to F3 OK, I'm sure I can get some testers out. But folks have got to stop sending me new seeds all the time if that's ever going to happen...:)

Seriously though, I don't think there was anything miraculous about this cross - the best part for me was realising that Flo is an amazing crossing partner, and that its intrinsic low yield isn't necessarily passed on to offspring, although its other qualities are. The sativa high in an indica body is a serious piece of work by DJ Short, and I don't see why this technique wouldn't work with other landrace sativas in order to make them easier to grow indoors. There's plenty more 'Goldfingers' possible, basically.

My Oaxacan Gold, for example, shows huge promise in a similar vein - I don't have any Flo or MoFlo pollen spare right now, so I put some 'Overflow' pollen on instead tonight - that's the Mystery Strain X Flo, and promises some exciting offspring, though they'll hardly be stable for a while - if ever, given my speed of progress...:)

Hey there! Good to hear from you again, and nice to see the old favourite still doing well. The Goldfinger F2s are still uncreated sadly, but they're on the list for this year, definitely. My pheno is still delighting people whenever I get chance to flower one out...;)

By any chance was this the same Malawi Gold used to create the Malawi Gold x Santa Marta CG that British Hempire sent me? The pictures on the first page look very similar to my pheno.

I too believe that there is an unlimited amount of crosses that haven't been made yet with great Equatorial Sativa genetics. Your Goldfinger sounds delicious, and looks amazing.

BTW, it's horror_business, I went to another site after my dislike of a certain seed company, but am back.

tetragrammaton - I don't think so - I used a Seedsman Malawi Gold to make this, which I think was ultimately from African Seeds. I had two very good phenos, but the one I used was the longer-flowering of the two at 15 weeks. That's down to 11-12 on average with the cross, which is great. Goldfinger X MoFlo produced some 9-week phenos, so it shows that using Flo can considerably reduce the flower-time without compromsing the stimulating but trippy qualities of the high.

Hey Eman!

My Goldfinger is doing well in my cfl cab under 24hour light. Revegged it. It is suffering from crispy leaf syndrome though...is she sensitive to N?

Gonna repot her and move her to the greenhouse soon. Looks like she is desperate to flower! Guessing she's a very early starter?

If you don't mind...I'm hoping to dust some Sweet Tooth #4 pollen on it...

I've never noticed any N senstivity before, but it doesn't like small pots - like Flo, it seems to need a regular repot to thrive. And it shouldn't be flowering either under 24 hours light! I'm a little puzzled on that one - got any pics? Mine's under 18 in a fairly small pot and doing fine so far, but she's ready to go uptown a little soon...;)

Nice man :tiphat:
You should really find a way to spread your crosses widely ((;
I`m sure many growers are beging to get some of the KC, MoFlo and etc.

Thanks. I'm doing my best, but with the space I have, and the constraints on my time, its difficult to do much more right now. I have to earn a living outside this small world, or no-one will ever get anything...;)

I have successfully cloned the Goldfinger...woo hoo! First ever attempt!

How would you rate this pheno/cross overall? Is it up there with your favourites?

Am I right in thinking it's a 12 weeker?

The one I repotted has exploded with growth...she is loving the sandy soil mis and worm castings! I think she might get HUGE!...will have to keep an eye on that...

I'm just trying to figure out what to cross her with...any suggestions?

Pics soon...I promise.
