I found a 13-14 week blueberry smelling/tasting phenotype, in early flower and in veg it has a sweet pineapple smell at end of flower it sweetens further and becomes a distinct blueberry jam smell.

My Golden Tiger.
- Week 7, flowering from seed at 11/13 light schedule. Quantum Board LEDs.
- Topped and lightly trained with 4 main colas, tallest one about over 4 feet tall.
- 5 gallon fabric pot with organic living soil

What pheno is this? The GT colas are the two front ones. Disregard the two in the back.

Am I in trouble here? Many of the lower and mid level big fan leaves are turning yellow already for only at week 7. I'd fed her lightly at Week 3 flowering and then just fed her heavily yesterday. I hope she has enough leaves for at least another 4 to 7 weeks more.

Dubi,
Do you have an opinion on fasciated plants regarding their worthiness in breeding?
I have read conflicting information about what causes them and wondering if it should be discarded or used in your opinion.
It is an odd plant for sure, self topping at about twelve inches and the clone threw a branch out of the center of fan leaf.
Five females and the other male are normal so f2s will be made regardless of the fasciated males fate.

Just curious, thanks.

I'm not Dubi and I expect he will weigh in but are you saying the whole plant is like that? When I've seen it, it's been usually two branches that were from lower on the plant. I often didn't notice them till they had grown a bit. I've let them go and you get weird distorted buds. They are ok as smoke but ugly. So now when I see those branches I just cut them completely off to allow the plant to put its energy into the normal branches.

If you have entire seed start plants like that I would not breed with them or with clone plants that are like that.

Thanks for the input.
Plant flattened out in the middle then returned to kind of normal growth. Very branchy and compact overall. It is a male.
I was mostly interested in other opinions regarding usefulness in seed making. I have read that it is a genetic mutation that may or may not be caused by a pathogen.
My inclination is to use it but keep its progeny separate and see for myself what comes out of that batch of seeds.

Hello! here my golden tiger fem.

3 months of growth.
8 weeks to 11/13 outdoors.

I vaporized 0.25 grams of a flower that broke at 4 weeks with the same number of leaves and I got a hypnotic effect, spacious that did not alter the thought nor had a body load, quite strange. I guess I should go slowly with the ripe harvest:biggrin:

I do not think that it lacks much, although I have no experience with plants of this type, perhaps the maturation is extended. The photos I take of the trichomes are misleading, depending on the filter I use, I see some amber, but I am not sure and it also took just 8 weeks to 11/13 ... although perhaps the long vegetative period and the reduction of light to 11 / 13 has accelerated things a lot ... whatever ..
How do you see it? any opinion?

Thanks! greetings to all in this difficult moment.

Hi Guys,
Just roaming the web while cooped up and saw this thread. I am just coming on to some olive oil infused with Golden Tiger. Stuff I grew winter of 2018/2019. I stopped smoking so did a big qwet on all of it. I use olive oil to clean my evap bowl and that's what I'm eating right now. Been in the freezer for about 6 months and so far...it's feeling great.

Now this little story will be frowned upon...since it involves besmirching GT genetics. But right now...I have three GTs growing that are almost 16 weeks old. Thai pheno and a Malawi pheno and one sort of in the middle. Oh...the floral scents on the small one are amazing. Anyway...moving soon and wanted to save the genetics...and the only male I had was the best of 4 male Matanuska TFs that I was grooming for a different project...and I thought...what the hell...I'll pollinate the GTs also. So I did it...at around 11 1/2 weeks. Gonna harvest once the seeds are ripe...since they're still living in my old place which I sold...but I required that I still have use of the place till my grow was done. (guys a stoner...he understood completely) So I am eager to get some GTxMTF seeds for my new location. The MTF I have is way powerful and strong growing...so I think it may blend well with the GT. My apologies to those purists...the devil made me do it.

Be safely stoned (my new motto)
John Dee

Hello! Here my Golden tiger fem.

8 weeks to 11/13 outdoors. 1 week drying in the dark.
It showed enough amber on the small leaves of the flowers and I harvested half of the plant. I will harvest the other half when amber appears in the flowers. will I do well?

Greetings to all.

Oddvar I also took a plant at 9 weeks and was disappointed by the weak high, it needs at least 12 weeks as the 12 week plants are super powerful and will change your life for the better hang in there and give the remainder the time it needs to finish properly.

Thank you very much, Tangwena. I thought about harvesting but I will let it continue.

Regards!

I recently harvested my GT shortly after week 11. Chrystals mostly cloudy, very few amber colored.
System: Waterfarm

Smoke:

This is the most badass plant I have ever grown. :woohoo:
Unique High!

4-5 hits (80% GT, 20% tobacco) and you are fucked up for 3 hours easily.
You should absolutely not smoke this e.g. prior or during work, driving ... You definitely would hurt yourself/cause damage!
You should find some good place and time for this princess and you will be rewarded (close to planning doing shrooms).
I sat in front of my high end speakers and became one with the sound and was so much in the moment, awesome! Lot of thoughts and you also get the munchies.
I think being outdoors at a creek or a forest would also be great with this.

A friend said to me after testing this: "Very close to the holy grail!"

Ace Seeds rule! :tiphat:

Strong/healthy/vital genetics! The time of growing weak holland/american hybrids is over for me.
You will see what I am talking about when you compare those genetics a few weeks into 18/6.

Hello! here my fem golden tiger at 14 weeks (12.5 weeks on 11/13, 1.5 weeks on 10/14) outdoor. Some amber trichome. Here the cold is coming so I decided to harvest, although I left some flowers to harvest next week.

Are you growing something like this? I would like to know what phenotype it is. It smells like lemon and fruit. i guess it will be 50/50 thai - malawi

Thanks a lot.

2020 grow

2020 grow

Here's GT from feminized seeds. For me there have been a few phenotypes of this but they all have also always been Malawi dominant. I'll have a few regulars too, mainly because they have been Thai dominant. I like having both.

This raised bed isn't 100% gopher wired so I use those cages in case they find their way in at some point.

Never grows old seeing these spring for life! From the breeders pack, im growing two from the Malawi resinous phenos with more moderate flowering time. GT#1 showed more NLD vs purple satellite and Zacatecas Tribute even from first leaves. Calling this plant below GT#2.

I’ll do a proper thread god-willing my guerilla makes its way home.
