Hi Girls! :)

This is my Golden Tiger fem. at around day 18 from seed.
Got some massive leaves there and I have big hands, I am a +240 lbs woman :dancer: ;-) !
Time span regarding the pics/growth is 3 days.

Compared to all other pics posted in this thread my GT seems to be the most indica looking phenotype.
@dubi: Did you mix up my order? :)

Setup:
- GHE Waterfarm (15l) – pimped with another air stone, drilled at least twice as much holes and added another pump to simplify changing the nutrient solution.
- Nutrient Solution: 8l (2.11 gal) with GHE flora, micro, bloom, EC now around 1, PH starts at 5.5 (increases daily by around 0.1 and is adjusted every few days). Water is mixed 50:50 (tap/osmosis), so I start with EC 0.25.
- Light: Roleadro 300W (around 90 USD). Enough for vegetative growth. For blooming I'll switch to 4 x QB96 ELITE V2 ENGINE.

What kind of lighting? If it's strong LED, then it is mag deficiency as you can see interveinal chlorosis (yellowing between the veins). If this is the case, dim the light or back it off several inches. And spray the leaves with epsom salt solution (1 tbspn / gallon of water) just before lights out.

I can see it's droopy so I bet your LED is too strong.

Additionally, I also see overall yellowing which is indicative of N def too.

Thanks Hush and Farm3r. Appreciate you advice.

I gave it some high N nute and some lobster meal and it looks better. I'll do the epsom salts solution tomorrow am eary before lights out.

Still unsure if the pack here is a 2nd or 3rd gen GT. Bought repackaged in October or so 2018 from a reseller. The tube has a small bold Helvetica font card cutout from the package saying GOLDEN TIGER in a light coloured font.

All are showing very narrow fan leaflets revealing a Thai bias in flowering and fluffy structure to bracts. All were slightly different. No herms so far but they are all pollenated with a Thai leaning GT male so here's hoping that some pollen will settle them in to finishing in a timely way and produce seeds. This is mostly a seed run and finished buds are of lower priority.

Most exciting one however has been the chance discovery of a sport Northern Lights biased Neville's Haze hybrid that has been pollinated with the same male Thai leaning GT.

The NH hybrid (maple leaf indica like leaves) was one created two years ago from a saved cutting of a very broad leaf NH feminised phenotype. It's father was a Haitian phenotype leaning Nanan Bouclou (also has a naturalised PNG Gold in it apparently).

The aroma is intoxicating in a very old style way. It had an intense rotten fruity durian, baby poo, vomit like aroma at the start of flowering which is changing to strong ear wax and spice aromas that remind one of very fresh hasheesh.

[ NH (NL pheno) x Nanan Bouclou (Haitian leaning) ] female x Golden Tiger (Thai) male

Really looking forward to working this line further if seeds are viable.

The GT male growing tips were sampled with a quick dry (report above) and now afraid of trying it again! (low tolerance). The seed GT male plant was removed (clone was made though there's no plans to keep it long term due to space constraints).

While most of the male plant was composted, the male flowers and growing shoots were collected and fermented. It smells like old leather and tobacco - like Snus if anyone is familiar with that product.

As my stash continues to dwindle I've gone to using the growing shoots and smaller leaf material as extender or filler for my leftover bud from a previous session.

Have had some very nice effects from the blended herb. Changes the intensity to a fully functional high where sometimes you don't remember you're still high until you wonder why you still have an intense rush like feeling dancing around in your abdomen.

It's very nice and it's controlled in that there is no paranoia or narcosis. A very functional high that could pass almost any daytime test. A beginner smoke sort of gentleness to it.

I had tried a blended vape with very early toppings material followed by the usual and noticed a significant difference to the usual high with pleasant rhythmic visual distortions that enhances the melted into euphoria sensation.

The buds must be sensational. I'm still a bit shy of the fermented male buds above because of the earlier experience with it. It's been allowed to dry fully and will probably serve as filler too.

7 healthy original F1s.
4 had some twisty growth at first, probably from using seedling soil that was mixed up only a few hours before transplant.
60 % germination on these old seeds was unexpected but a real nice surprise. 40% was had with same seeds a few years ago as expected.

Anyone find the Pineapple pheno? I found one that smells like pineapple juice, produces very nice looking buds, another smells like mangoes which I've cloned as well. I plan on using both of these in hybrids.

Smoke Report from Seeded GT

Smoke Report from Seeded GT

I did a seed run of GT this past summer (I bought the GT seeds in Dec2017 so I know its not the new GT Ace currently has out); at chop in july, I threw the plants in an open ice chest left in the closet because I had to close the tent for a while. I recently separated some seeds from bud, and vaped the crumbled bud last night. The flavor was so so because of my lousy treatment of them, but the high was pretty good, cerebral and creative, mellow-but not high energy racy, and absolutely zero couch locky-ness. Also, no noids whatsoever. It didn't keep me up with a racing mind, but still was relaxing enough so I could fall asleep easily. I am wondering if the seed run had mellowed out the high (I chopped early at only 9 weeks)...I'll have to do a sinse run of GT at some point in the future for reference. I also crossed GT with Destroyer at the time, so I want to grow that one out too.

While enjoying the session, I sketched out my far red initiator bar based on a bunch of left over parts I have (except the XP-Es), so I have a future project for after my current run.

I imagine the GT high would pair nicely with the yunnan high, so that will be a future cross at some point.

Hi, sorry if this has already been asked but I read through the first 13 pages and gave up.

Ive got 5 fem GT, growing guerilla style in the Florida Everglades, 26° lat, so tropical environment, with rainy summer. Going to be growing in 55 gallon drums. Everything is ready to go.

My question is when is the optimal best time to sow my seeds? starting directly in the drums... Not starting indoors. It's Feb 3 now. The last chance of Frost is Feb 1. It was a little cold last night.. got into the low 40s but that's probably the last cold spell. Weather forecast is like 80/60 high/low for the next 10 days. I'm trying to grow as big as possible. Should I start asap or hold off till March? Thanks.
