Well Zach you can believe what you want. I.m 52 yrs old and am just giving information on Dubi's Fem GT. I don't make it a habit to lie about something so trivial. I actually think it was a little more. It was weighed after we kicked a friend down.maybe he bought his seeds from jack, n they are magic beans
I think it means 8 oz. These single grows you can get them huge. If you grow it you'll see what I mean, meaty, not airy, and thick as my arm. Roots that were like ropes man. I can't vouch about Koh Chang Thai. In the 90's I know they crossed a lot of NL with it and that's why they are robust.
1000 watt HPS 400 watt supplemental that was moved periodically. Your only going to get as much yield, as the amount of light you can give it. Concentrating on one of course is the way to get the big indoor ones. O'yeah 8 week veg.
Good luck man. It's killer weed. I think a lot of people get Reg and Fem confused. Fem is Malawi and Koh Chang dominant Double thai, but it's basically Koh Chang, that gives it the size and vigor. Actually the potency is better. Of course I haven't smoked the Regular Thai pheno GT. But the reg I did smoke was harsher and more wispy, airy buds, which is normal with sativa's I know, that's why I've always suspected NL#5 are still in these, I don't know.
I stand corrected.. I read the other threads, saw the grow log, and as I said stand corrected... a lb (plus) is an incredible yield... hats off...I topped 1 time and a fim and of course LST, and that exploded the plant. I couldn't imagine supercropping these. You must have 50 bud sites. I'm like you, I was shocked to see the size. I wonder how big these girl's get outdoors? Are your pheno's N sensitive?
I just harvested a GT from regular beans and got 5oz dried from one plant that was about 42" tall. I can see a bigger plant yielding a 1/2 pound.
Yes they are a little sensitive to N watch the nutrients.I had to supercrop the taller one it was growing into the light also seems like the taller one is showing signes of a K defficency prob caused by too much N. Did not start doing so till about week 8 of flower im now in week 10 and i think i got it back under control both are frosty girls but taller one has more and the smell is wonderful.

So I just ordered the Golden Tiger. Now I have the cash to purchase 2 more packs from Ace.
Could you recomend 2 other strains to try. looking for potency, Type of high or quality and flavour.

Zamaldelica and Panama would be nice recommendations to grow beside Golden Tiger fem. They are all tasty, vigorous, powerful and high quality sativas, yet each different. If you like good sativa haze hybrids, then i would also recommend you the new Haze x Malawi and Haze x Panama hybrids that we are about to release.

We are pollinating 5 different Golden Tiger mothers with new malawi killer reversed pollen for the new GT feminized stock:
3 Thai Koh Chang phenos: Tall, late flowering. Floral, spicy, lemony aromas. Very clean refreshing thai effect.
1 Malawi pheno of moderate size and flowering time. Vey resinous and powerful, very deep, dense long lasting effect.
1 Early flowering smaller pheno. Strong organic aromas, similar to best Vietnam Black phenos. More relaxed, yet very clean and focused.

I definitely got the Thai pheno. Floral spicy is spot on, after curing. I was shocked how huge this thing was. Is that the Koh Chang? It's great weed Dubi. Any plans with it in the distant future? More Double Thai influenced.

An update on my extreme Koh Chang Pheno. After a couple of months it still kicks your butt every time you spark it. It really is amazing how you can smoke everyday 3 times a day. And everytime it's the same. I made a little bubble hash, and it was like old Nepalese finger hash. The Nepalese that was grey was Sativa hash. Same awesome sensation with GT hash.
Keep posted, curious to hear about the finished product.

I suppose out in central valley California we might start the Golden Tiger a little later to control height and control if topping.

The Fem version is Malawi and double thai,Koh Chang and Hmong. Regular is Malawi and Meao thai. I have smoked both, and the Fem is an an awesome plant that most people haven't tried. If your going the GT route, the Fem is the shit. I,ve been smoking it 3 times a day for over 3 months, and still have no tolerance build up. When you smoke some early it's like speed.
