ahh haha! got ya. Yeah I have a list of things to do that keeps growing. I am amazed how much info there is listed on this site about the dam. Im only afraid I wont wanna come home and now I have the cash to probably make it happen....If not definatley plan to move to one of the med states soon after.
Yeah I read about where u can start a business there and theres an american-dutch trade treaty thing u can do..thought I may buy some junk and set up a booth at the market...dont really have to make a profit,,itd just be a front...got the name of a good immigration lawyer there??
Guess maybe I should try it for a month first though..lol
Also a long time Lurker, First time poster.... I am going Mid July for the fist time. I have wanted this trip for so long, and now have the opportunity. I have smoked a lot of well known strains, but I have a list I have wanted to try for years. Does anyone know if Greenhouse usually has White Widow on hand? Watching that grow video on their site changed my life (long story, and I always wanted to try theirs.
if I'm passing there before you arrive I'll try n remember to have a look .. I also have a friend visiting later this month who's interested in visiting GH so as long as we actually get there, it shouldnt be an issue
Thanks shadoweye976 Ill keep u in mind..thinking about renting an apartment as I will be there for 30 days and not always the most social person, I dont think id like the whole Hostel thing. Honestly thats one of the main issues im finding with hotel rooms there, they are small and sharing a bathroom, this all would be fine if I was just gonna be there for a week but a month of sharing and a itty bitty room would grate on my nerves..
In nearly all coffeeshops you and YOUR bong will be welcome (save for a very small number that do not allow smoking of any kind and that is a VERY small number - in fact I only know of 2 where ALL smoking is banned and they're owned by the same guy)
In nearly all coffeeshops you can use THEIR bongs and for the most part they're pretty clean.. watch out though because in others.... not so much..
In GH they will ask for a 10 euro deposit (as with some other places) they will however give you a new(ish) clean Roor to use and in Grey Area they also give you an alcohol swab to clean the mouthpeice (I felt that was worth a mention)... Grey Area (and indeed many other places) also have Volcano vapourisers for use
Hope I got you some good solid bong info there bro
Thank you so much for the info, thats exactly what I was looking for. I usually hit the bong all day, so I wanted to make sure I could there. I have a Volcano, so I know how great they are for taste and clear energetic highs. I am staying in Dam square, so I will be going to Grey Area also. Do they all have grinders for use, or should I have my own?
I was in Amsterdam recently and I found so much information on www.coffeeshopdirect.com it was unbelievable. Make sure you check out this website and you will be able to get a great idea about what coffeeshops are worth spending your time in. Two that I reccomend for sure are Basjoe coffeeshop and The Greenplace. Bas Special from Basjoe's was a really nice smoke at a reasonable price. I tried three different LA Confidentials and Basjoes was the best imo. The greenplaces kushes (purple and OG I tried) were both really nice. I would also try the blueberry cheese from there because it was the only thing with blueberry in the name that I actually could taste blueberry.whatever you decide to do have fun.
grinders can be found in most coffeeshops for use... you can also buy one (recommended) approximately every 2 meters in one of the many many redlight "souvenir"/headshops
edit - some great info from weedhead there too... my mate who is a big Kush fan always rates Green Place and I'd also agree that the blue cheese cut used here* is really lovely
*That cut is available in a few different shops. but always smell it first as some less scrupulous sellers will label things with popular names such as kush/cheese/blue anything - when they're clearly not... I think willie wortels in Haarlem was the first I saw with it for sale commercially... I used to travel all the way there (2 hours return journey) just to get it
Thanks for the heads up. I have been on that site for the last few days reading up on them. Do you guys know if Barneys stocks their Dr. Grinspoon? I really want to try that, and because of the way it grows I don't think I will see it state side anytime soon.
