1 30 or 50 amp 220 volt circuit for flower lights
1 20 amp 220 volt circuit for veg lights
1 20 amp 220 volt circuit for the AC
1 20 110 volt amp circuit for the dehuey
& the rest on a 20 amp 110 volt circuit

thats not as bad as it seems ..... i 100 amp subpanel in the veg room could handle all that with no problem

both my rooms are all run off 1 60 amp subpanel , in flower , on both sides of the room theres a 220 volt time clock for each 3 sets of lights & a quad set of 110 volt outlets for fans , pumps & filters .

Ah, those are pics I've been wanting to see. I have to go do some errands and stuff but when I get back I may have a question or two on the set up for you Dan, if that's ok. Happy to do it as pm if that's best.

When you said a 100A sub would cover your list, I don't get how it adds up. The circuits you listed totaled 110-130 amps. Is the 100 panel enough because the intended draw for each of the circuits would not approach a total of 100? Electricity is not an area I know much about so sorry if the question is remedial.

Although the scale of growing has passed me by, this remains one of the best threads for me to learn from.

the 80% factor ..... not everything will be running at the same time & , lights are only on for 12hrs & only run on 5 amps max at full load , AC wont run constantly , dehuey won't run constantly , the pumps only come on for a few minutes at a time ect .....

I'll have to check it again but 4 x 630 + 315 are only pulling 12 amps in my flower room. I could have that confused with when I had 5x 315's in there.

I'm on the edge. Of what I'm not sure.

Gotta factor 100% for the lighting, on for 3+ hours = "continous load", the dehumidifier durring lights out could be counted the same.

the 5 amps a piece for lighting was going by my HPS ballasts , i'm sure the gavitas & 315CMH will use alot less .

We had an interesting ride home..... GG4 to the rescue........lol
So we dropped the Canadians off at the Dock and sent them packing..... Im glad it was the best day of there lives..... not sure they had good teachers.....but they just got there advanced open water cards before coming..... and all of our divers look so much Better on there very first dives....... there gear wasn't adjusted tanks slouching, there buoyancy and streamlining in the water just didn't exist they wanted to touch everything they didn't know how to use the snorkel, they didn't know the basic underwater sign language much less the advanced communications within our circle at the shop so everything had to be written down on a slate so we could point at it..... they were Scared as HELL...... wow......Glad i didn't sign there diver Cert cards......... They were nice for the most part..... Still pissed about the Lobster Tail....

Just thinking here... but with my Back i really had a hard time lifting the Gavita with the rope ratchets..... Just standing on the step stretching over and out that was really difficult for me guys...... remote hoods would most likely make that task easier......
http://growershouse.com/solis-tek-a1-commercial-de-reflector-remote
that for the de reflectors,
http://growershouse.com/galaxy-de-select-a-watt-double-ended-electronic-ballast
thats my selection for the Ballast so a couple of them
http://growershouse.com/galaxy-lec-electronic-ballast-cmh-315-watt-120-240-volt
that one for the CMH 3100k that will hang in the middle
and then for the cmh reflector
http://growershouse.com/cycloptics-greenbeams-315w-cmh-ceramic-mh-reflector
so that's it for lighting when i add the two other trays ill get another one of each.

Remote ballasts?

You should be able to rig a pulley system where the ropes you pull or release to raise or lower the light/fixture end up on a side wall or near your door. Not that different than what you used on that sailboat today. You'd need several of them but it would be a matter of rope/wire organization. plenty do-able. You're a water based Macgyver, right?

Oh no Ona that wasn't a Sail Boat..... That was a Freeman 26 Center Console Custom Dive Boat with all the bells and whistles.... Twin 300 hp Evinrude engines and a stepped hull.... Even a 2000w Stero System....... She will Cruse at 55 mph and top out at about 65 in perfect conditions..... 55 mph on the water is flat out Smoking it....... Seriously it's the perfect boat for us Girls....... The owner is a successful VET that we took it upon our selves to teach diving to for Free...about 5 years ago.. He lost his feet above the ancle and didn't think we could do it. With his custom fitted fins he can dive and is great in the water.... He wanted to do something nice for me and Krista so he bought that boat and maintains it for our use....mostly..... One of our best friends......And now a highly respected diver..... Just an awesome Guy.........

It's great that you opened that world up for him. A classic win/win.

I saw catamaran and somehow pictured a sailboat. I read you were going 55 knots but figured it could have been with a motor to head out without bucking head winds or whatever

here's a vid of a power drill powered hoist, that may be something to look at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UnRGORpxZGY

I was wondering whatever became of the DN and the GB you passed out. Have you gotten any follow up on how their grows are going?

thats alot of coin to drop all at once for 6 lights & thats not including bulbs at another 100$ a piece , but if you think you can swing it ..... i like the choices you made ! galaxy ballasts have run flawlessly for me !
