hey Aspen, you gotta be getting super excited for the chop. good going on this run. I have a question. seeing as I have never run GG. is there a reason why you didn't use a more traditional SCROG technique? I mean train branches horizontally to the screen until stretch is over. then letting all the lowers receive the same light as the tops and turning every bud into a top cola growing vertically.
sorta like this, sorry it's upside down in pic:

in my experience, most strains really kick the yield up quite a bit by doing this. especially stretchy sativas types, we call em yogas around here. when I do it, I remove everything below the screens and any suckers too and concentrate on just the top sections. sorry if you discussed this before, I was just curious

Well that's what I did Craven, I should have put the second layer on the last time I clipped them down to the scrog, making a few adjustments.... And going again......... But that was my goal,

I love this thread! I learn something new every time I stop in to check the latest. Its a learning experience Aspen. Youre doing just fine or more realistically fuckin awesome considering this is your first grow!! My first indoor grow back in 88 was a shit show. Keep on kicking ass girl! You def got skills!!

Aspen don't get me wrong, you did great on this run. The best thing about growing is there is always a next run to try for better. It's one of the thing that keeps me growing. How boring would it be if it always went perfectly? Traditional SCROG is an art. A lot of intuition goes into visualizing a full flat screen and how to accomplish it without under or overgrowing your space. Just takes time. From what we've seen here, you'll be there in no time...

glad ya like the halos bobbo :tiphat:

& yup , thats why i don't flower the seed plants anymore , just the clones from them . you get a better idea of what the clones will bring to the table without having to flower twice .

Yeah not sure what I'm going to do, about how much longer does it add to the overall time of a plant to finish-an extra month to a month and a half?

And here i thought i was the wierdo tossing the seed plants  Same thought process as Dan...Seed plants have always been much different then the clones for me too.

weird, now I'm seeing this is page 51

so, I quick logged out. when I logged out it was page 101. log back in, page 51. I think I must be traveling through a worm hole in the universe during the log in process or something.
Aspen- sorry to go off topic, but it's strange to me

they will , takes a little more than a week to deplete the nutes in the coco , then they start feeding off themselves & the fans really start dying off .

What day are you chopping on?, can you let them go a couple few days longer? Once they do start to fade they'll fade fast.

Just my two cents lol.

if you don't want to taste the chlorophil , i'd give them another week to fade out . they're still way to green .
