But you could have died, so still ahead of the game!
So true especially where i was at, having the weight of 2.6 atmospheres squishing me and breathing compressed air..... Fortunate i have such a skilled friend, but it was more than SKILL, i can't really explain it but i know exactly how long it took for her to perform each and every step from the time she turned and saw me in the water until i was strapped to the deck of our boat..... I also know we didn't get bent so she did a proper slow assent and safety stops. We teach and rehearse these skills with timed video all the time..... It' the Rescue Diver course.... Fortunate i am.... She had to be moving with absolute focus, It will cost 1800 $ to have the engines on the boat serviced no telling how fast we were going..... and a 400 dollar fine for breaching the swim zone at the beach.... The timing just dose NOT WORK OUT... We cruised out of the bay at 45 MPH the trip took 49 minutes alone.... I've given this a lot of thought.... It should have taken about 28 minutes longer than it actually took..... So i dont know.... that kinda freaks me out a little...
