Getting rid of coyotes and bobcats

If you have skunks, you may regret an electric wire.
Chances are they’ll dig under before anything else. You can bury some chicken wire to slow that down.
Don’t leave water out. It will attract other creatures that will get the coyotes attention. If your dogs are only out for 20 minutes, they coyote won’t be focused on getting into your yard. Walk your fence line. Make sure they’re not tunneling under. If they come after your dogs, it’s because they’ve established a hunting area around your watering hole or their rogues. Juveniles left alone after the leader was killed.

i've been bitten by both cats and dogs (bats too, long story) and i'd prefer another dog bite if i get a choice. i don't know what disease ridden rodents they gnaw on while out and about, but cat bites (scratches too) ALWAYS get infected...

Cat scratch fever.
