Yeah ok, well back to reality, telling kids to ignore their problems, not taking into account the reasons they aren't equipped to do so, or how social networking has effect on kids and their relationships at school is just stupid.Bullies are DICKS no two ways about it and the sooner they are stopped the better. I for one am sick of bullies. I'm sick of them online and I'm sick of running into them outdoors and I'm just sick of them.This you tube bullshit has somehow made it okay to pull really shitty stunts on ppl and act like it's all good when it really isn't. What is okay for one might not be okay for the other who the fuck are you to judge what is okay? Why do you need to get in anyone face for any reason? GROW THE FUCK UP!! This net has really turned into highschool all over again and we still have asshole bullies roaming the halls yelling out their shitty remarks. Unfortunely they are unually victims themslves and don't even know it .. Some are just assholes and will remain this way for the rest of their misrebel life . Others were brought up this way and just don't know how to stop acting this way. It's the only way they know to interact. Age has a lot to do with it but our school really lacks in teaching that this behaviour is unacceptable and needs to be address at a young age.There is nothing out there with more illsion then our Educational/Gov./Doc./ system..peace out Headband707.

My theory is either they were bullies or were bullied themselves. You can tell which ones were which at every encounter.
just because many of us can't relate to the huge despair that someone must feel in order to contemplate taking their own lives, doesnt mean we should have no sympathy for it. saying that these people should 'cowboy up' just shows a huge lack of sympathy and empathy.
of course it's not necessarily 'rational' to commit suicide.
and dont give me this 'dentiny' BS. we all have choices and some of those choices will have an impact on other people - whether its the incredibly cruel act of broadcasting someone's private life on the internet, or the tragic choice that some poor kid made because he decided he just couldnt face the world any more.
so if you dont understand, try showing some sympathy - it wont make you any less of a man.

Bullies pray on people whom they perceive are weaker than them. However the reason for this is because the Bully is fearful of something or someone themselves. Learning to recognise this weakness,, is the best way to over-come bullying.. much of which is in the mind anyway.

Shhhh...there are people here who don't agree with that. I suggested simply stopping our help to them, cutting off aid, and I was called a monster.
Not just talking psychiatrists. I think schools are the place to handle the problem. Teaching teachers how to recognize and prevent bullying. Teaching kids how to handle it. You'd think that this stuff was already given a lot of attention at school but many countries are just starting to come around to it.

This will all be common sense, by the way.
The first, is nobody knows exactly what another person is going
through, and has no way of knowing. In fact, the majority of folks
have a difficult time understanding their own behavior. Most people
I have talked to in my life admitted that they don't know why they
do what they do.
As far as destiny BS, it is a much stronger argument when observed
without opinion, belief, convictions, and other concepts. Just one
example, are you choosing to breathe at this present moment, or
is it simply "happening?" Is everything else in your body "happening"
because you choose something,or is it "happening" and you don't
really know how it's happening?
When we start to observe the world without using our minds, all the
delusions fall away really fast. Is everything "happening" in nature
a "choice" or does it sort of just "happen" similar to how everything
happens inside your body?
...if these things just happen, why is it so far fetched to actually
observe that everything that happens to us as human beings
pretty much happens in the same way? That there is no such
thing as choice or free will, that it is a complete illusion, and
that we are machines that act automatically?
The answer is simple: Ego, i.e. the identifiction with "I, me, my,
mine, etc." I am, my thoughts, my opinions, my beliefs, my
convictions, my body, my this, my that, etc.
Once you take that out of the equation, you will notice that the
truth is that there is only the present moment, and what is
happening in this present moment.
There never has been, and never can be anything else.
And how does this tie up with suicide, simple, the universe decides
what to manifest in each present moment, and some characters
stay in the present moment and some get taken out.
...and it is the director (the universe) that makes these decisions,
and not the characters, just like in any "production."

I know what it is like to be bullied and to be the bully I guess. I mean I didn't just bully anyone without provocation and I'm talking decades ago when I was a young kid so don't hate okay! I got picked on for being a longhair, for being an egghead, all kinds of reasons and probably was on the receiving end far more.
The thing I worry about is that "anti-bullying" laws could be used to control behavior to a stultifying degree. The government should practice anti-bullying within its' policies and set a good example for everyone. It's hypocritical and smacks of totalitarianism.

Morons can be a very subjective term to everyone, not just those who can close a thread on a whim.

Everybody gets bullied at some point in their lives and we all know that it's a horrible feeling. It can end lives or destroy lives and always creates misery, it damages the victim and it damages the bully as well. Nobody gains anything from bullying.
There are things that we can do to reduce this and we all have a responsibility to prevent or confront the bullying of others, it's just basic human decency.
