Killing the self over the video is intense but were all wired different and people should take notice. Not everyone is of equal strength when it comes to these types of things. Therefore everyone should understand that some folks will kill themselves over certain things. Why fuck with someone when this type of shit is possible? Doesnt make sense! Respect is something that should be given until disrespected, its too bad this isnt always the case. Roll the dice if you want, I wouldnt fuck with no one, thats not why were here. The folks that recorded it, well all i goda say is "aint karma a bitch" or just maybe a "motherfucker"!
i think one problem may be a lack of good counseling. if these kids knew how to get help they wouldn't resort to what at the time seems like the only option. life for them as long as they've been old enough to start making memories is probably filled with shit...

the first being the bully, the second being the victim, and the third being the audience. most of the time, the bully will harass the victim in front of an audience of his peers to get some attention, to impress friends, etc.
of course the bully has anger issues, but i dont think most teenage bullies have evil/malicious natures. they just bully because they can, and because they are fucking pricks. it's their persona after a while, they build a reputation of being a hard-ass while the bully maintains a reputation of being a weak victim, incapable and/or not willing to defend himself. and if they do defend themselves, it may make the bullying worse.
the bully's peers need to defend the victim. the faculty at these institutions need to defend the victim, hold the bully responsible, and counsel both parties.
what sickens me are the cases where adults working in these schools are a part of the problem. they are fucking scumbags and people like them should not be a part of the education system, which is extremely important. teaching is not just a job, it is a responsibility.

I live very close to Rutgers and know alot of people who attend the University. Everyone's pretty pissed any of that occured. The whole gayness thing is beyond me I'm not even gonna touch that....lol literally and figurativly. I wouldn't have killed myself I would've killed the guy and girl who did the stream online and anyone else who saw it.

Perhaps the youth, in general, have less faith in their future these days. Corruption is rampant and the youth see that better than conditioned adults busy with making ends meet. They view many of us as conformists.
Perhaps this leaves some of them 'closer to the edge' when other life hurdles arise?

well... i would disagree that youth can see the world for what it is more clearly than adults can.
almost all youths have no real life experience. no responsibilities, nobody depends on them, i mean sure some kids might take care of their sick family members or have to watch their siblings etc, but they really dont know what makes the world spin, they just are easily impressionable and quick to cling to the first ideas that make sense to them.
it's kind of silly, though. i mean i bet a few years ago you could have browsed a variety of myspace profiles (or whatever other popular networking sites there are) and skimmed through profile info or journals or blogs by teenagers who knock politicians... talk about how they "hate living in the US"... i mean i know a girl who used to say shit like "i hope to move out of america before i'm 20, bush is evil and the war is evil! i hate being american!"
now she works at target and is 21 and pregnant, and pretty happy and well adjusted as far as i can tell.
kids are getting smarter, sure, but they're still pretty ignorant about life.

bullying still goes on at my work from what i can see,
there is a little group of guy,s that like to point out everyones
weaknes,es of who ever will let them get away with it and it gets
put down to just "having a laugh".
i have learned that these guys are insecure and feed off each other.
the best part is speak to these guys alone and do a bit of digging
and they are more messed up than their victims.
i now have info on them all that could make them want to die on the spot.
work nights out and cocaine and all the little secrets come out.
i would not stoop so low to tell these things and i wouldnt need to
they are very wary of me.

IMO, i think kids today are just too easily hurt. Theyre too emotional and sensitive that they become needy and desperate for acceptance and attention. When theyre alone and uncertain, they have no dependence upon themselves to become stronger, and go through extremes to fill that void. Suicide may fit in somewhere along those lines..

sleep levels have been recently identified as a big influence on teens mental health.

My message to the "depressed" regarding their BULLSHIT.

The next paragraph is what I say to myself when I get depressed at all. then I get to work at life and I feel better. Dwelling makes you more depressed. action and activity give you purpose. even if all you do is work at micky d's and own 40 cats at least you do something.
"Buck up HZ! dont be a vag. If you think you are having a bad day just think about kids in starving to death in Ethiopia, they have no meat on their bones, but there bellies are swollen because they are filled with gasses off put by their dissolving insides. Then think about being an eight year old kid sold into sex slavery in Thailand, think about the details. oh or think about living in a concentration camp in WWII.

imho...the primary reason for suicide, and this is for all humans,
is "purposelessness." In other words they see no reason or purpose
to live, and because of this they take their life. This is the root, while
all the other reasons that are usually given by regular folks and the
"so-called" experts are really only the consequences of this root.
The interesting thing is that people that see that there is no reason
and no purpose in life, are actually right, but instead of waking up,
and starting to observe that "all that we have" is the actual experience
we are having right here, right now, they mistakingly decide
to end this experience that they are having.
But, that is from the inside out, while looking from the outside in,
everything is happening as it should, and human beings are not
really making choices, they are a "part" of what is simply happening
and in reality only a part of the "one" recipe called life.
...and to be more exact, there is nothing except the "experience"
that is the present moment consciousness, and that is all that has
ever been.

^that is very good insight. Some people just have what I called a Buddhist Revelation. They realize that the ego is all a person really actually controls and that most things they do are pointless. I realized this on mushrooms.
Many westerners that study Buddhism, and start to shed their ego simply can not handle it. western culture is based purely on materialistically, and physically pleasing the ego, and that life is bad if you cant. when they realize that it is bullshit and that there EGO REALLY will pass (forever... forever ever...forever ever) and there is nothing they can do about it they become severely depressed.
Me I see it life and afterlife two different journeys, and levels of existence. My day to day hope comes from the simple fact that my ego is made up of energy; and it is proven that energy is never destroyed it just changes form. Life is perpetual kenetic energy in practice, power by potential energy. When we die we join the mass of energy that powers life in the universe, thus becoming part of the the great fabric of the universe.
Modern scientific string Theory and Buddhism say the same thing in different words.

When there's such a total misunderstanding for why a problem exists it's no wonder that it does. Pretty much anytime someone starts off by saying "kids today" you just know it's bullshit. Kids are generally emotional and sensitive and they always have been. You could probably go so far as to say that about people in general. Of course people are going to be upset when they are dominated, physically or otherwise. The answer is in looking at why the "bullies" act in the way that they do. I believe it's because their environments are very similar to the way in which they act. They are probably treated in the same disgusting way and like with all abuse suffered there is a tendency to want to inflict it. That and the fact that it could very well be inherent to children or people as a whole.
Well that's a pretty idiotic way of looking at it. This couldn't have less to do with the intelligence of those who commit suicide. And people generally don't commit suicide on a whim. It's the biggest decision that a person can make with their life, you can be sure that they are tortured over it.
Coming from personal experience, all a small guy, that gets picked on, needs to do is grow some balls for half a second. Just long enough for a nice drop kick to the knee cap, and a quick open hand jab to the throat as they come down.
The bigger and heavier the ass hole picking on you is the easier that knee joint folds back the wrong way. and the harder they come down on your hand which is being forced up pretty fucking hard at their throat.
next squeeze hand shut on throat while free hand forces bullies face down into your knee cap, table, wall, water fountain, or most preferably your a filled urinal.
you might get suspended, but you wont get picked on ever again, and you will probably have the confidence to go get laid at that point too. Plus the bully will totally think before he act next time, and thus become a more respectful person. It's a win win
and always remember kids, if you have good control over some ones airways, then you have good control over them. hahaha
