Edit: An odd thing I've noticed is the similarities between the people at the extreme opposites of handling situations.. The person that never defends themselves and the one that is all to quick to answer back with a punch seem to have some problems.

fighting should be reserved for self defense from an actual case of bullying. Fighting someone for talking shit to you one time is not appropriate. A Shit talker you can walk away from, where as a real bully comes after you pretty relentlessly until you do something about it.

Also as an adult there is many solutions, an options. A kid has a lot less because they are very limited in resources compared to an adult. if someone is being a bully to an adult they can call the cops or sue them. if it is a boss you can quit, or complain to HR, and have a lawyer talk to them if you are serious. If it is a neighbor you can call the cops. depending on the state is they mess with you on your side of the fence you can just shoot them. I'm not saying that is a good idea, I'm just saying that adults have crazy more options. I feel this type of thing has gone on forever and the internet has made it more available to be seen and heard just like our political fiascoes that are now more prevalent.

It's sad to say if the guy was with a girl nothing probably would have ever happened.?

But then again if you have a key that opens many locks that's a bad ass key and if you have a lock that can be opened by any key well that locks not any good so go figure.

Many moons ago I had a beautiful girlfriend that wanted me to take her to her prom but having a job like I did (Professional Racer)I on her special day had to be somewhere else. A long story short she goes anyway and half way through decides she doesn't want to be there and walk's home even tho I had a limo for her and her friends.

She subsequently gets abducted raped and dumped in her yard and she told no one. When I did return I did in fact notice a change in her but felt she was just pissed that I missed her prom.

A few days later I get an hysterical call out of the blue and she's balling and screaming and I'm doing my best to get her to slow down so I can talk to her and then I hear the click of the shotgun and then the shot and then the thud.

To sit her and say I can describe in words what I saw when I rushed to her house would be impossible. The smell will always stay with me and the thought of seeing a beautiful women I loved plastered all over the wall.

SUICIDE IS SELFISH. It solves absolutely nothing unless you are sick and are suffering. No note No closure just a bunch of guilt and a shit pot full of questions.

To this day I still blame myself and that is so unfair to me but what ya gonna do right?

For those of you who are getting bullied remember one thing

If you in your heart know your a good person then so be it because it is IMPOSSIBLE for you to love others if you don't love yourself first.

If you are ever on a plane flight and it has trouble and the oxygen mask's fall down what is the first thing they tell you to do?

PUT THE MASK ON YOU FIRST then help others. Because if you cannot breathe you cannot help.

YOU ARE NUMBER 1 because when the shit hits the fan that is really all you got YOU.

For those of you who know me you know that she is not the only suicide I've been through and we also need to include the one lost in the car crash on Christmas Eve.

I've loved 4 women with all my heart in my life and 3 are dead. The 4th has been my rock for over 25 years. As long as you wake up any day breathing it can be a good day if YOU choose it to be. It does get better but you gotta make it better because why the hell should anyone wanna help YOU if you don't wanna help YOU.

So in closing I would like to say those of you who are having issues and are thinking about ending it all,you need to stop and think about one thing.

For you it ends now,for those that care about you they hurt forever. Do they really deserve that? Because trust me and I speak from a well experienced heart,the hurt NEVER STOPS FOR US.

Are you really that selfish? I think not, now Smile and go outside and do something about it b4 that stinkin thinkin kicks in again and quit feeling sorry for yourself if your breathing it can change.

The world my be changing as a whole. There may be more information available. Communication may be a great deal faster. In the end people are still the same from as far back as Sumeria probably longer. We still have the same needs, feelings, desires, and fears. We are no wiser. We still make the same mistakes. The whole idea of people being better or worse, the world being more dangerous and less caring is complete bs. It is simply information overload.

If your society is in contact with 100 people and 1% are murdered you hear about 1 murder and its a total shock and surprise. If your society is in contact with 500,000,000 and 1% are murdered you hear about 5,000,000 murders and are indifferent to the idea of murder and perceive murder as all around you because its constantly talked about. If you look at population vs. reported suicides, murders, and rapes in the usa all are significantly lower now than anytime in the last 40 years.

Suicide is not immoral in my view, and it shouldn't be so shunned by our society. Life just isn't for everyone, for a variety of reasons. As individuals, we aren't capable of rationally judging another persons situations as objectively worse or better based on the (poor) information we have about our peers. We don't know the least of our peers true psychological make-up. We have no idea how much they suffer inside. It is an empty cliche to say things like" suicide is a permanent solution to a temporary problem." Some problems are not temporary.

Let's be honest people: if there was such a thing as an "easy way out," there would be about 11 people left in the world. There's not a lot of brave people in this world, gutting it out. It's very annoying to hear people say "if I wasn't so brave as to carry on for [xyz], I'd have killed myself years ago." Please. You'd have done it if you had the balls; and you don't.

I'm sincerely sorry for your experience wags, but that girl doesn't owe you shit. It's your job as a man to find a way to live with that pain. I've been through a similar situation. It's irrational to hold the person close to me who ended it accountable for my pain. They didn't owe me another 30 years of misery just so I could avoid having to deal with some tragedy head on.

It's sad when a child ends it, because they haven't given life a real shot. But enough with the talk of grown adults making the decision to end it and their subsequent vilification. It's an irrational way of trying to convince ourselves by proxy of our own toughness for carrying on, when the truth is 180 degrees apart.

'Happiness Preacher' Commits Suicide

AFP - A South Korean television personality known as the "happiness preacher" and her husband were found dead in a motel room in an apparent joint suicide, police said Friday.

A motel employee in the town of Goyang, north of Seoul, found Choi Yoon Hee, 63, and her 72-year-old husband hanging in their room Thursday night, they said.

A note left by Choi and released by police read: "I've felt something wrong with my body from two years ago. I have a hard time, suffering from lung and heart diseases."

She apologized to her family and friends for giving in to "unbearable" pain.

Police said the husband was believed to have helped his wife commit suicide before killing himself.

Choi wrote about 20 books about happiness and hope and earned her nickname for inspiring people to live happily through her TV programs.

South Korea has the world's highest suicide rate for women among major advanced nations, according to official data, and the second highest rate for men after Japan.

I think my theory that everything just happens is closer to the truth
folks. Some commit suicide, some are sent to a war, some are
murdered, some die in a car crash.

Death is all around us, and it is simply a fact of life that we are born,
we exist for a little while on this planet that is just hanging in space,
and then we die.

Death is our only true friend and companion, and it is the only thing

I can certainly understand suicide if an illness becomes terminal and it's getting closer to the end. I would never want to be kept alive on machines and if I ever had to go into hospice care for whatever reason I just assume drive my car over a cliff. My family would understand. No sense squeezing blood out of a turnip.

Death is not something to avoidor deny, it is something to face and
be-friend, because it is truly what makes one appreciate life, and to
put a real value on it. Currently, common sense says that this life
is the only one we have, and once that moment comes...it's over
for good. This fear is why people make up all kinds of religions and
concepts about heaven, after-life, reincarnation, but this is BS,
the only thing that we can observe is that once we are gone, we

happened to him was someone would make fun of his...etc, and
if he had the perspective of what happens in Iran, Uganda, he
would have thought -- it is no big compared to what happens there.

This is a perspective problem, but at the core, did you know we
have a trillion brain cells, and that each person has a unique
perecption based on the associations that are moving between
all those motherf*cking braincells.

We are all walking around loking like regular people, but in reality
there is some serious shit going on in our minds every living moment.

This dude should have smoked a joint of Herihuana, and just fogot

and so on...until his association just got wiped out completely.

I'm not serious about that of course...but taking into account the

Possibly. But I'd be willing to bet no. No matter who you are, it is very difficult to put things in perspective when they are actually happening to you. When it's happening, whatever it is, it always seems like it's the end of the world. Hind sight is 20/20... as cliche as it sounds it really is.

On the topic of death though... I'd rather die at 75 than live to 95 and be senile for the last 25 years of my life. I want every moment I'm alive to count. Being off in la la land in a nursing home is no way to live, IMO.
