First of all people would be shocked at what forms of Chemical pesticides are allowed in organic farming, Also with organic farming its spread so far and thin with regulations its not even funny.. What one country Deems Organic another deems non organic for public consumption
Again with money being made i had to laugh other day walking through soil section at a place normal soils 2.00 - 5.00 then organic soil 10.00 i thought to my self WTF
But it all comes down to a debate which is safer one application of chemical pesticide that got rid of the issue vs 20 applications of organic pesticide that may have got rid which one would you find more traces off after testing
Bottom line poison is poison one being more stronger and other one being watered down

I am a farmer and here is a wake up call folks we only planted half of our fields .. with drought among us... sure we have crop insurance but Gas and other things come out of our pockets ,, Wait and see what happens this fall and next spring as many farmers only went half as well??? think of the impact that brings to the world 2 bad year crops and know one has to worry about world war 3 it will be worse
Its all up to the weather if she rains and things fall in place then my self and many others will plant other half and do a late harvest

And also next time you go to the store and shop look at the ingredients soy and corn starch is in everything

I may not agree totally on the the monopoly monsanto has this makes them a very powerful entity indeed but with out GMO foods and people you must realize its just not to kill insects or bacteria its also to produce more yield , Vitamins in the product also
If everyone got there wish tomorrow or monsanto stopped sending seeds or decided to starve you out remember they have money and will survive harvests would drop substantially and with that massive price hikes remember supply n demand works in all goods n services

I do not like GMO's that said maybe people need to understand why.
I don't like a company to make a GMO that has a higher resistance to damage from a poison spray so they can use and sell more poison spray.
I am not saying all GMO's are evil, I am saying that the reasons for the GMO to be made should be considered, and most are about profits not better plants or healthier soil, plants and people. Also I am a classical breeder and most breeding problems can be solved with classical breeding it is just not as fast or cheap. What about golden rice? GMO rice with beta carotene? The positives may outweigh the negatives? One thing is for sure GMO's are not going away, and in the USA may be impossible to avoid unless you grow your own food.
High-fructose corn syrup (HFCS) is used in everything and it is all GMO. So are sugar beets all GMO in the USA, they also now have GMO sugar cane.

Not grown but imported (soy beans) from Argentina.Don't know where the gmo corn is coming from, but that is also imported and used in animal feed.Recently the EU had given greenlight to 19 new GMO crops to be used in animal feed.

If you could get a RKS Skunk#1 but it was GMO would you still want it? Is it OK if I make a GMO version, it would be a lot faster for me to do the work?? Just joking, I do not work with GMO's.
I have zero interest in recreating a RKS Skunk#1, I really did not like the smell, taste or effects. Many people did like it, I understand, but I only like to work on projects I am interested in personally. Maybe someday RCC or another breeder I respect will try and do it with my saved genetics, but don't hold your breath.
