That is the power of stinkin' thinkin'...
We have a system in place to fix our government.... even if it's under attack.
I admit it looks grim, and some certainly foment that desperation, but it's up to the rest of us to moderate and unite.
Congress is not going to be reaching across the aisle if we applaud them for acting like reality television stars.
That leads to the worst waste of government... we shouldn't let our representatives rise to some level of celebrity.
Division is damaging.
We've suffered enough already.
If we can just remind ourselves that our system is not compromised of a "whoever wins the election gets to vote however they like" intention.
We're supposed to have legislative representatives who are in touch with the people who vote according to the people's will.
Working together would be necessary. If they have you preoccupied with whether or not the guy next to you is someone you should be disgusted by then they can do whatever they want.
