stay away from sport models . my ocean yak is more stable than a canoe. due to wide base and my low stance in the yak, dont be discouraged theres some really nice stable yak where you dont really need to know the eskamo roll. tipping over and using paddle to upright yourself. i bought mine at a lake after a test drive. actually bought 2 buddy my buddies was yellow . i got the last blue one for stealth.looks like i will be eating more seafood. i also have a few friends that enjoy fresh seafood.my buddy once asked for fresh catfish. i went from otay lake to his pad knocked on door and handed him and alive 10 lb cat. priceless look

Reminds me of Gilligan trying to surf. He ties his feet to the board and Skippy rolls him back up, lol.

I like Gramps' yakamaran.

i remember that dude from "60 minutes".....

ya, he died....

that video was from '07, that technology should have truly been brought to light and market by now. since we've heard no more about it I'll assume big oil bought the patent and has locked it away forever.

That has got to be in development somewhere by a car manufacture. You'd think it would be all over the news. Big oil probably did buy it and lock it in a safe and told the government to hush hush.

Big oil couldn't let something like that out and the gub need's big oils contributions to finance itself. That would be a back breaker for both of them. Fucking shame.

Fire from Salt Water
The late John Kanzius found a way to burn salt water with the same radio wave machine he is using to kill cancer cells.

Kanzius was testing his external radio-wave generator to see if it could desalinate salt water, and the water ignited. A university chemist determined that the process is generating hydrogen, which can be burned as fuel.

While the phenomenon is interesting, it is not yet practical for energy generation as long as more energy is consumed by the radio frequency device than is produced for burning. Efficiency-wise, they started at around 76 percent of Faraday's theoretical limit. (Other Hydrogen-from-Water methods, such as the one being pursued by Bob Boyce, are approaching 7x Faraday). They subsequently quietly reported that they surpassed 100% efficiency, which would mean that the system is somehow harnessing environmental energy such as from the zero point or some other yet-to-be discovered phenomenon.

Another problem to be overcome from burning salt water is the liberation of toxic chlorine (from the Cl of NaCl/salt).

Kanzius said if someone wants to buy up the rights to the technology, that would be fine. He would use the funds to finance his quest to cure cancer.

He passed away Feb. 19, 2009.
Not practical yet and it's toxic. No dice.

Shit, that's chlorine gas. Shades of Union Carbide. Might as well break out the Zyklon B.

but likely a very small percentage released as chlorine gas, sorta like the acceptable levels of arsenic the US govt allows cigarette manufacturers to put in their product.......

follow me yet?

lobbying interests would/did run that shit into the ground just like big tobacco & big pharma want to keep weed illegal.

improvements could be made, gases captured and rendered inert when used in place in industrial applications. replace some coal fired and/or fuel fired facilities with the salt water method and relieve some dependency on imported oil driving prices down.

Simple since it's been done b4. The gas VAPOR is what burns not the liquid. Figure out a way for the fuel to be vaporized B4 it enters the combustion chamber and it will last a hell of a lot longer in the tank.
Mr.Wags

This would, indeed, help making the combustion more economical but, and that's one big but, the vaporisation of the gas is extremly important to cool down the mixture. In high power turbo engines, they used to add water to increase the chilling effect.

The cooler the combustion runs, the later you can ignite and thus increase the engines power.
