my family has raised llamas for over 25 maybe 30 years. yes they are strong as hell. my uncle had the males on his farm and his girlfriend had the females cause the males will fight to the death over them. its a sight to see. only way i can describe the noise is like raptors from jurassic park. other wise they are the kindest gentlest creatures ever. never seen one get violent with a human until one kicked my dads ex girlfriend. she was a bitch and deserved it. he was everyones favorite.they are all gone now.not really sure why my uncle wanted llamas but I'm almost positive smoking a few joints had something to do with it.
