Meh. I understand the sentiment. I did 2 years in the clink. No cooperation, no deals cut, I pled out to exactly what I was charged with.

Met guys while I was locked up who got caught with 5x the reefer I was caught with, and got half the time.

It's not a difficult observation to make, from there...

I have smoked with many on this thread, both sides of this current squable. If KB was flipping on cultivators we'd have a lot more DIRECT confirmation.

The whole theory that the feds took him over and let him out on the street ASAP so as to smash the lives of as many ICmagers as possible is a funny movie script, but doesn't match with current reality.

If they are going to cage me over a flower they could easily do it with out the help of KB, or any other icmager.

Public comments defaming a grower normally come from newbs and are taken with a grain of salt, however in this case we have Majorly respected members saying things publicly that would be better hashed over in private.

KB was the head of his own operation..he wasnt working for anybody, there wasnt a "bigger" fish or co-conspirator to take down....his sentence is pretty standard for alameda county cases that stay at state level...under 1000 plants, no guns, i know a few other guys who got similar treatment (5 years probation, fines) and i wouldnt dare call them a snitch... he only had 2 pounds on him, shit in oakland the cops will joke that you only have that much lol....2 lbs is peanuts out here they want the guys harvesting 100s every month..

its just totally out of pocket to make claims like that unless you have tried and true paperwork confirming said accusations...

i just hope KB has a calm head responding to this...respond in private i think.

joeshmoe spent 3 yrs fed and was cought with less then you where cought with. and he isnt the only person tommy chong spent 2 yr fed for his kid selling and shipping bongs to another state. dont think tommy cant come up with enough money to buy his way out . when the feds have your ass they dont care they'll squeez ya untill ya sing or throw ya in a cage to do your time plain and simple.

Isn't the internet awesome. Arm chair QBing at its finest. If you have a good lawyer, and some money, things can work out. Its just, some get busted before they ever have good cash flow, so they spend time in clink. And from there, its treading water for the guy.

And joeshmoe you speak of, had a shitty lawyer, or no flow to get a good lawyer, so like most of us, he ends up in clink. And Chong, that was a political move in regards to bongs and the like of. Different game. Different circumstances. One is a public figure, one isn't. Theres tons of variables, and none make any sense in comparing to kb's case.

We can flat out grow just about as much as we want, make as much money as we want, just as long as we can bail out and pay the retainer fee.....

Well some US attorney's have stated that they don't want to expend resourses on less than 500lbs because they have MUCH bigger fish to fry in their districts.

Also if the suspect owns NO property and has NO easily ceasable assets there is NO win for the US atty.

So the fuck what if they can throw another 30 / 40 something into the can. Taking down a single grower and recovering ZERO money is NOT a feather in the fed cap and does NOT lead to promotion.

Now if you could only raid 12 houses and everyone's last name is Nyugen then your career is on the right path.

This country is about money and fame, popping a gardener out of a rental house is no great prize, even with 999 plants. BECAUSE California judges, jurors, and prosecutors ALL see the single guy in a rental as a PAWN, not the rooks we believe ourselves to be.

my lawyer does federal marijuana cases and said he hasnt seen a case involving less than 1000 plants in the northern california district for a over a decade....he was surprised i was hiring him even though i only grow under 99 at a time said it was overkill but thats how i like to roll..

most federal cases are over the 1000 plant count mark..like eddy lepp.
