misdemenor probation here cant be more than 1 year.
anything higher has to be a felony.
buddy pleae be carefull, very carefull, they have a "guilty plea" from you on this charge. and they wont be afraid to violate you, even after the money paid.
were the charges ammended, or did they keep the original charges?

Of course its true. Its a business to them after all...its their business to take money from harmless "drug" offenders..its easy money.
I know cats who've payed off lots (aka..everyone!) of people.. judges, prosecutors, officers, etc.

I may have got mixed up in the thread... what was the 10k fine for to the electric company if you were not stealing power?
Recent bust around my parts (non-med state)..guy got house arrest only for 280 plants. I think it ended up costing him around 25k to get off. ...that however was for both his wife/himself I'm pretty sure. there could have been more $$ though..that might have just been what the lawyer wanted for both of em'.

One case I know of in TX the dude will have spent about $7500. He had less than a quiper of med but also had some candy that they added the total weight to that made it a felony. Quiper is a felony in TX...the county even charged him $50 for an "arrest fee"...lol
