Thanks for the junior attorney work. It is my understanding that judgments must be RENEWED or COLLECTED they are not enforceable for an UNLIMITED period of time. Almost ALL judgments can be discharged UNPAID though bankruptcy (except FRAUD, TAX, or CHILD SUPPORT).

And FYI local DAs don't prosecute tax evasion cases the IRS / FBI and Federal Courts handle those cases.

Check Cal. mmj tax evasion, State piggy backs on the Feds.

The reason tax evasion comes up is that under State laws you were within your rights......the civil suit........well....take the dollar amount of the reported confiscation.......multiply by 4........if read correctly would be 6.8,.......roughly 1.5 mil in taxes!

Ya, the Feds will want their cut. Hope it works out for you.

That's just how the legal system works.

A cop can arrest you for ANYTHING and hold you for 72hrs.

Within this time they must file formal charges and send you to the judge or release you.

Prop 215 (medical legal weed) only gives you a defense in front of the judge.

For 72hrs you're fucked if you're dealing with some a$$holes.

To get protection from being arrested by the police (for plant counts/violations of SB 420) one needs to get one of those state issued marijuana ID cards. This is not to say that all cops will arrest you for breaking sb 420 limits if you don't have it, but it makes a big difference. You also need the card to be protected from police arrest even if your county AG offers a different legal interpretation of SB 420.
