Well they are drying in my wc, so you can picture is not the best but it has extraction 24/7 and i added the clip fan.
if you are suspecting they are in a dry environment then you are right, temps 19.5/20.5 and rh between 35/45% unless i tske a bath but i take care of the rh fast.

Thanks on those 2 details you asked, well they are not soft or mushy, they are normal but i feel the trichs turn dusty like you said BUT just the outer ones, the inner parts of the buds are normal, i know what the proper conditions for drying are, for now i cant provide them. Since i bought more mist heads i think i will be able to provide something better next harvest.

Do you think is just too low rh and air movement that made them dry too fast and develop kinda of a hay smell? Thats why you asked if they would dust like for example when we fast dry them in the hoven too long and they just become dust when you pick them?

Well, i remember reading sometime ago, i think about colombian gold, the old one that the nugs were truly golden, and i remember folks saying that aside from genetics, there was a pratice to make them look gold that was striping a string of tissue from the main stem, top to bottom, and that lesion was too much for them to heal and they would lose water from it and start to die, therefore the golden nugs, dunno, maybe another fake story.
I dont mind dying nugs if they are good since they dont develop mold, but indeed, all of my plants got lesions like the one i said, removing fans and strings of tissue coming along down the stems, like i said, im a stress grower, i created the company, i need to grow it :D, maybe that contributed for them to die faster that would be just by how much deficient they were and are.

i forgot to mention that indeed usually after i dry them to fast, after some days in the jar in a higher rh they regain something, for instance the killer before this one entering the jars was only hay smell, 2 weeks to 3 later it was fully mandarines and i loved it.
Thanks Mr. Dots, those 2 details you asked i think made the difference in me, if im correct in what i said?

Peace :tiphat:

Good temps. 35-45 is low :yoinks: In this scenario you could buck them earlier, and sweat them slowly in a container.. or bucket.. lid on lid off..

Close Mr. Dots?

Peace :tiphat:

That's the one..
I used potassium silicate for years.. its a good input for foliar too but I had to use alot of pH down with it in the reservoir.. your water profile may be different

Thanks bro, regarding sweating the buds, thats how i usually do

So i jarred the extremly dried buds, normally i know i jarr them in time to sweat them a bit and counteract the low rh, this time i was late.
Still and counting on the low side and after smoking a bit from the 2, the maza came out at 77gr and the killer at 64, since the maza buds hygro say 45% inside the jar i think i loosed too much, but still considering what they went though and me thinking they might not take it, its not that bad ans counting the gori and the rocky, i might could almost have pulled 1gr/w wish for some of you is laughable, for me too, but still, i wasnt expecting this after all.
at least i have something to smoke, im better prepared for the next grow and im happy with it, and thanks to Mr dots i can recognize better when my buds are drying to fast (i think)
Btw i know the jars shouldnt be that full to allow the buds to breath, but i dont have any more jars, i never harvested so much even if that sounds anedotycal for some :petting::D, no i can just use tuperwares of ziplock bags for the deficient rocky that still is tented, none of wich i should use :shucks:

Very nice results. You deserved a good harvest, enjoy man!
In the pics the stem of the bud looks like it still has a bit of moisture left in it, I think it will be just fine, maybe take a few extra days to even out the moisture content throughout the bud.

Go sampas!

Yep, great harvest given the conditions!
As JustGrowing420 says I think that is just surface dry and it should give more humidity from within. Make sure you take them out to air if humidity raises signifiantly in the jar, cause a wet middle with dry outsides might not give out humidity fast enaugh in a jar.

Thanks boys, yes the stems were a tiny bit moist and there is some moisture left in them, the hygro says, raised 10 points compared to when i jarred them.
i usually let them breath opening the jars and notice thats someyimes the rh rises a bit faster until i stabilizes and i need to open less and less.
Thanks :flowers2:

For you guys have a notion how dry they were, i opened the jars, went to take a bath, hot one, rh of 90 closed them and the rh is at 55 inside it..later on i will take all the buds out to feel them and see how they are.

Btw, i love this tree, Acer japonicum, beautifull, i love how she looks a long relative of cannabis and here they never go green, always the redish tone, i love it

Yeah me too!!
I always knew them as Japanese Maple trees.
I just Googled it to find that there are about 20 varieties of Japanese Maple trees, with yours being one of them.

I love how they always have red leaves.
It's not just fall colors like all our other Canadian Maple Trees. 🍁

Yeah, it seems maple is more know in the americas and acer in the europes, dunno.
yeah they are, and the colors is due to the environment, this one show a fade of green, but the weather doesnt let her reach full green and btw, its not mine :D

One is the latin name, one is common name, isn't it? Stoners.. :D

Sort of,.. lol

The common name covers a group of trees.
The Latin name is the specific tree, or "strain".

As far as I know, we call any Maple 🍁 🌳 with red leaves all the time, Japanese Maples.

whats next for you@

thanks gizmo, now im just waiting on the deficient rocky to finish.

Next? Well, since i cant switch to c€c€ now, i will try again with this kalong nutrients, a bit differently, if i spent the money and they are here at least i use them, still dunno what im going to grow next, probably some bulk freebie seed from the grow store to not be a total waste :biglaugh:

meanwhile im reading about nutrients, coco, hoses and pumps to get nyself ready.

And i harvested the Rocky, what is enough is enough.
I trimed by hand again, i love it, i think i will not use scissors again unless i really need too, afterall this girl was so bad growed that is more leafs on airy meaty buds than buds per se, i hated triming her even tho i was happy that even all yellow, all the leafs were strongly attached to the main stem, all of them, not one came out easily plus, i found one fully dead and dry detached leafs between the buds and no mold whatsoever, no brown, no dark, no furr, no nothing wich made me also sad by sniping the main top thinking it was mold, we live and learn.
behold, the leafs :D

My vote for buds in ziplocks!!!.. unless its hot or for a long duration..

Your drying temps were pretty cool right, so I think the quality of the terps and cannabinoids are intact ❄ its the green stuff that dries faster and can be a bit harsh..

Nice weed pile :smokey:

Well between them having a bit moisture inside and me droping rh with baths i managed to recover their dryness quite nicely.

The rocky is with a bit higher rh than last time but still low on 45 but without fans moving air away and for now iys good but iv been with an eagle eye on them.

thanks Mr. Dots
