Naah, i smoke everything and all
but yes, i want to grow one or 2 big easy screenable and extra resinous just for making hash and nothing else..well maybe some edibles from whats left in the buds.
it would be cool if i still work at the dental clinic, i cllould try to screen the buds in a hypersonic machine to see if it would work.

Yesterday my rocky had a suspicious leaf in the main cannopy bud.
i went to check it, i didnt see furry anything anywhere but brown blotches in that leaf and other that were deep in the buds, the calyxes on the main stem at each nodes half brown half healthy.
it doesnt smell bad, but i wondered what was it and i think maybe mold in its beggining?dunno but i cliped it and will see how the rest develops. Didnt take pics, too stoned and forgot.

Well i dont finish the other ones, i dont have a drying cab for it so i choose the place with the highest humidity and since the wc have the exctration always on there is always some fresh air, also i keep a close eye on them and i already know that when i jarr them they will be too moist so i always play with the jars, i guess we skin the cat the way we can even if not the best way to do it.

Sounds as though they're coming to the end of their life aka dying.. remove as much brown stuff as possible, take the branch off if need be and leave the rest if its fine..

I think that the dying stuff was the problem, she is so defficient that leafs are dying when and where they shouldnt be, but i got to feel the buds, meaty ones bined.

So i follow a protocol from the "We Newbin" and weight my pots everyday, since almost a week ago that the Maza stoped drinking and at the same time started to eat herself hard and fast, but from top to bottom at the same time, at least what was still green, today it seems just around 10% of her leafs are greenish, the top ones are purple and the bottom ones yellow, she is coming down today, the pot is pretty dry too so i guess

The Rocky i feel that i may have cliped the top bud without having mold, again, because of the lack of furr, i wished i had taken pics of what iv saw.
either way, i know the pic is not the best, but those calyxes on the stem, that brown is a sign of mold or just def? I ask because i used that brown in the calyxes and little leafs to assume that i had mold

The Maza was so dry and weak that i put on spme gloves and hand trim her, quite pleasing, then i roled that pistilyhashy ball and smoked it while hanging her

To me the flowers have begun to die.. the plant is done.. I've encountered this in some strains, like sour bubble for example.

If you are talking about the one still in the tent, yes, she is all yellow and i think she will not make it 100%, defficient as fuck, poor thing

Either/or bro.. pre & post harvest.. its the oldest calyxes closest to the stem... genetic predisposition + environment a plant has its window of life and when you go passed it, sometimes exacerbated by long plain water period, flowers will start to die off..

I get it, i think if i scent some strange smell that indeed is mold, even tho i dont see any furr in any of the drying buds, i smell them differently, dunno how to deacribe it, i dunno what some guys mean to say when they say they smell muky so i dunno if its is or not.
what im seing in the drying buds is they seem to be getting a yellow tinge, but something slight and mostly on the outside of the bud and not deep, so maybe could even be too much air movement. What k know is that yesterday i smell weed and sweetnesd in the air, now i dont feel any of it, just that strange smell, dunno if its muky, too much green, drying to fast. But something indeed as changed.

What is the temp + humidity in the dry area?
Some strains may lose the strong aroma a few days into drying and then re-gain it after jarring..
Are the affected calyxes soft/mushy? or turning to dust if you rub them between your finger? or just normal?
I've had buds dry different colors eg my haze dried into golden buds.. but just certain calyxes exhibiting the dead scarecrow look, tell me I had parts of the flower dying..

Well they are drying in my wc, so you can picture is not the best but it has extraction 24/7 and i added the clip fan.
if you are suspecting they are in a dry environment then you are right, temps 19.5/20.5 and rh between 35/45% unless i tske a bath but i take care of the rh fast.

Thanks on those 2 details you asked, well they are not soft or mushy, they are normal but i feel the trichs turn dusty like you said BUT just the outer ones, the inner parts of the buds are normal, i know what the proper conditions for drying are, for now i cant provide them. Since i bought more mist heads i think i will be able to provide something better next harvest.

Do you think is just too low rh and air movement that made them dry too fast and develop kinda of a hay smell? Thats why you asked if they would dust like for example when we fast dry them in the hoven too long and they just become dust when you pick them?

Well, i remember reading sometime ago, i think about colombian gold, the old one that the nugs were truly golden, and i remember folks saying that aside from genetics, there was a pratice to make them look gold that was striping a string of tissue from the main stem, top to bottom, and that lesion was too much for them to heal and they would lose water from it and start to die, therefore the golden nugs, dunno, maybe another fake story.
I dont mind dying nugs if they are good since they dont develop mold, but indeed, all of my plants got lesions like the one i said, removing fans and strings of tissue coming along down the stems, like i said, im a stress grower, i created the company, i need to grow it , maybe that contributed for them to die faster that would be just by how much deficient they were and are.

i forgot to mention that indeed usually after i dry them to fast, after some days in the jar in a higher rh they regain something, for instance the killer before this one entering the jars was only hay smell, 2 weeks to 3 later it was fully mandarines and i loved it.

Me neither thats why im asking, i think the pinacle of tha "You Stressin" is chop a top that wasnt moldy

Btw the way, even with this grow getting bad, this one was the best one until now, these are the first and only girls that get me high and still get smell after fast dry in the hoven with moving air at around 30-40c, and for now im loving the little apetizer, no particular smell that i can pick besides sweetness skunkiish, i think
