well i know i was gonna keep up with a timely pic/update sched, buti watered and i just couldnt help myself, since i noticed a good amount of new growth.
the nutes along with teh "busting up" of the rootball b4 transplant is what i attribute this all to:

***FYI: i had some males i was supposed to give the chop and was teetering on whether or not to save them for pollen or not. low and behold the wife goes into the garage ( a.k.a. sanctuary) and reminds of them still lurking in a corner i had forgotten them in.
i go to take them up and i see the sperm cells drop:jawdrop: !! i almost shit a brick, so i got my little black film canister and start cuttin down and collecting!! got a nice lil' bit too! dont know if i want to but i will see about pollinating the others once they get a little bigger.

i aint touching the bigger two since those are for me while the smaller one finish. well if anything, hopefully the last beans i have left will be an even split and i cn make tons of seeds, an dkeep this shyt goin !!! they smell so sweeeeeeeeeeeeet!!

well today i repotted the other larger pant , since i couldnt deny the growth i saw on teh first one,especially on teh bottom nodes that were left over after teh cuttings were taken, ofcoursei am gonna save those for reveg.

the first plant i repotted has since grown atleast an inch or so, the reain produciton is crazy, and the only thingi regret is that i dont have a camera good enough to take proper pics with!! and i can see i gota good month or so to go, so as far as i can tell, i am gonna have some time to give the plants ROOM2GROW! ( sorry i couldnt help the shameless name plug, it just fit).

for passers by, i remember reading or hearing about plant size being in direct relation to container size, for every gal you are going to get a foot of height. i truly beleive that ever since the first repot. nothingbut 3gl grow bags for me from now on baby!!!

to all smoke one for me i am holding strong in my cannabis fasting, but after smellin those beautys, it is well worth it, i am gonna wait and let me tolerance down so ican get my high up!!!lol

You should probably pollinate ASAP so the seeds will have time to mature fully. I ended up with tons of immature seeds one time because I waited too long. Just be careful. Breeding for self, and others that may want them. I will be crossing my Ice Cream females with the Pure, to make me some Pure Cream... I also have Biddy's sister, Menage a T, Speed Queen, BikoxC, and a strain I call Gold'N'Girl, because she looks golden when growing.

FYI:
they are smellin' so so sweet, that i am thinking about snaggin a branch and dryin' it early , but i aint gonna do it, i cant!! i know what ill be missin' out on. lol

i noticed though that i water with pH'ed water and i get a very notciable amount of new growth, but i recently watered with my water pH'ed of course and molasses/supertea . i am not seeing as much shootin up as i would if i just watered. i am thinking that maybe i can attribute it to the northern climate changes weve been expereinceing? or could it be that the supertea/ molasses is a bit much for the plants to process?

ive got another watering coming up and this time its jsut plain pH'ed water, so i am gonna watch the the days following teh watering (of plain) and see if i notice any changes. well with things being what they are, and my days are so hectic with work, i am gonna try and update either friday morn or saturday morn, more than likely sat for the up and comin' update!

blAsia thanks for stoppin by, and i think i am gonna let the breeding thing go for now, and wait utnil i have things more stabalized as far as grow areas and such ive got light leaks here, no fan there and all types of other crap. ive got 4 more beans so i think i am ok, but after this i am gonna do bag seed anyway.

i mentioned on this thread that i am thinking about converting my garage, but i am considering security and that maybe a bigger step than i need to take. maybe the next home i am in, that will be done and set up in teh beginning of the move. it would be an utter shame to convert the portion of the garage i was considering to, and not run no less than 2k watts! i have already planned to build a 4 x 3 x 7 closet and run a 600HPS. i'll have enough to do a sizable hydro or soil it again. i've really got the growing bug now, and if i do the pollen/seed thing, i want it to be some elite/qaulity genetics, so ofcourse. . . that will be logged when i finally make my mecca to the DAM BABY YESSIR!!!!!!!!!!

well lets get to it!!

and as it normaly works out i am always in thought about advice as i tend my garden so i come upon a memory about having an even canopy so larger ones in back smaller ones in front, save for that lil' feller on the end over there


they are so so sweet!!! this is a wonderful strain i i do have to say. resiliant, low odor, wasnt affected by temps, easy to clone, just all around wonderful to grow, so needless to say the smoke is gonna be crazy. i ama firm believer that it is worth everyday of abstinance i am gonig through.

i am noticing that one is finishing faster than the other (the one closest to the light is the one with the browing pistils, and the other one far left is still going strong), but these have to be different phenos anyway. just by the way they both grow, and the tops tell it all, not to mention the bottom foliage.

on one plant the bottom foliage stretched to the light and grew leaps and bounds once repotted, and the other is growing very well and packin' on the trichs but no real bottom foliage actvity matters not as i will be building a stable cloning/mother cab

well the schwag days are truly truly over and dealing with B.S. wannabe posers, wannabe big willy dealers, iffy smokers, shoddy cats on the corners, idiots dealing in broad day light, tough talk nickel bag holders are truly . had a feeling once i met things would turn for the better. its cliche at this point, but i gotta use his quote -"free at last, free at last, thank god almighty im free at last!"- dr. martin luther king

brotha i wish i knew!!! this is my first itme with this strain, so i am just literaly going with what the plants tellin/showin me as we go. i checked out the trich's the other day,and they are nowhere near cloudy, really crystaline and shimmering like. if you ask me, i wont be really smoking anything of it till christmas the earliest, maybe even new years, but then again i could be wrong being totaly honest

the other younger ones are really taking off, and i am even noticing trichomes on the damned fan leaves. . . . .the fu*king fan leaves man!!! oh the hash i am going to reap from this grow is ridiculous!!!!!

i couldnt help it though, i took a small sample and good lord, i am more amped than ever b4!!!

well its 1 a.m. and its watering time, i am heating up my water now so its not so cold on those tender roots and i gotta mix in my molasses

ok all, sorry for the delay but in the midst of growin, i do gotta do the home repairs which i love to do aswell, so to begin with, as usual, here is the closet in full view for all to enjoy:

they are fattening up quite nicley i must say and are exactley what i put in the title, STICKY, SWEET AND MIND NUMBING!!!! ok honestly the mind numbing part coes in becausei jsu tcouldnt resisit and had to take a lil sample (may the ganja gods forgive me ). i sitll cant get over how these/this particular strain grows!!! once again; low odor, fat buds, sweet aroma, and if the high is anything better than the lil bud i dried . . . oooooohh wheeeeeee!!!!!!!!!!! (thats the best.. . . nah matter o' fact, thats the ONLY way i can put it!!!)

and my two long ladies? well they are doing phenominaly well!! , very minimal leaf tip burn, the nutes are holding up all too well, and these are the healthiest leaves i have ever seen!!!

OBSERVATIOINS: i have been looking/watching the trich;s and i have to say they actually have me confused. some of them have AMBER tops and the stalks are crystal clear. i have checked various areas of both plants and ive got 20% browning pistils, while the majority are still fattening up!!, teh temps have been really cold her in the north, but they dont seemed phased by it, not one bit!!!

they seemed to have filled out the grow bags, but i guess that is due ot the fact that i didnt really put as much soil in the bags as i should have, so they are somewhat shorter than what i expected and it could be that i need to be patient since they are just really beginning to fill out themselves and have more time and space to grow.

i WILL SURELY be reveging my main two ladies, and get some better clones that hve had a chance to grow about a foot or so. after this "learning experience" i see what they are all about now, and my new closet shoudl be able to hold atleast 15-20 plants this time!!!. . . . .

INPUT PLEASE: whats going on with my trich situation people? they are not reacting the way a plant should? am i expecting the right things from my plants? ive done search upon search and havent seen any plants that have gotten this way with regard to trichomes being underdeveloped the way mine are. they arent close to teh light at all, so its not the trichs getting hot and cooking, so what could it be?

anyway, since things are going so well i started a collection of stash jars (converted spaghetti jars). they are the coolest things to me, all i do is paint teh tops black, BUT i sand, prime with metallic paint then sand with black rustoleum spray paint for outside furniture. now this stuff looks really good and isnt easily scratched, so they are perfect for me.


the glass of course could use a sticker or two. there was this place called "the scrapyard" right off of canal st., a block or two up after you get off the A train, that sold the illest stickers, with clear vinyl backs and graffiti themed art T's and stickers, shittty thing is the damned store is never open when i float through NY in that area so. .. heres a site that sells those types of stickers that i have fallen in love with: http://www.stickerchick.com/ . .. do a search for THC, and you chould find all kindsa crap to decorate your homemade stash jars and , stash boxes with. i have a box i am going to be painting and shallacking. might put a real leaf on it, make a THC template who knows, you guys will be the first to know!!

you are looking at the trichomes correctly, the head/top is the portion which you will look for first clouding and later ambering. You will have to decide when to harvest based on your own personal preferences (head/body) and the average maturity of the trichomes. You have the option of selective harvesting if some of the buds are looking more ripe than others.

OMG!!! i wish i knew what pheno they were, this would be alot easier to grow!! but as the seeds were gifted to me, and that guy is long gone it seems i am sort of winging it. they seem to be the type arjan (i remember watching the video grow diary on youtube) grew out. nice long cola at teh top and many thick side colas.

so after seeing all that , i started to ask myself the same question. . i read and read and come to find out, one guy had a fight with another guy and all the guys ended up leavign with their own seed stock and plants. and then everyone on here is bitchin about whos pheno is better, whos pheno is original and all this other horse shyt!! now mind i'm in america, havent been to amsterdam yet, so WTF do i know about all this crap right?? but they seem close to the ones arjan grew on youtube.

now arjan grew his out in a really really wide hellacious tub, so this is the only reason i think mine are as short as they are. i ckfued up and didn't fill the bags entirely all the way , so many of the clones dont have all the space they need to get any bigger. (man i am so pissed about that) and they are way too bog now in those grow bags to transplant. i tried and once i felt those dirt balls give, i decided that what i get form this grow is what i get, i aint fu-ckin with them any more than i already have!!!

and i am still trying to get a hold of the guy that gifted the seeds to me and hes MIA so needless to say i am nothing but at this pont as far as what pheno.

You might be able to slit open the bottom of the bags and place them in pots. That way there shouldn't be any transplant shock. Just a thought. My good friend grew out the ssh but got his seeds in the nineties. He had the chunky indica pheno and it was the super producer. Yeah there is nothin but drama about ghs. Shantibaba (Mr. Nice seeds) made the ssh and worked for greenhouse back in the day and left but arjan kinda road his coattail and is still makin a killin off of the strains he didnt create. But that has nothing to do with your grow. The ssh is good i think no matter who you order the seeds from.
